of course Make Love, Not Warcraft won, it's the greatest episode of South Park ever made and it had full support of the Blizzard team making sure that it was as good as it could've been.two weeks after this episode premiered, i became a citizen of Azeroth, and i've never really left... even when my original account was deleted during Wrath by my bro, i still came back a few months later, getting ready just in time to enjoy the start of MoP, i was proud of myself for catching back up in time.i dont give a damn how bad WoW gets, Azeroth is my home away from home and NOBODY can keep me away from my home, here's hoping that 10.0 fixes a lot of past blunders, especially from BFA's HUGE blunder that we still feel to a degree in Shadowlands."Live to Win" my fellow Azerothians, Live to F***ing WIN...
This episode was originally aired in 2006.In the 15 years since then, most of the nerds portrayed in the episode have become parents, and continue to play WoW.Suffice to say that the demographics of WoW have significantly shifted when compared to the early days.
This is the only episode I've seen and it was obvious that only a deeply devoted player could create the script, because that last phrases:- What would we do now?- WDYM? We can finally play the game.can only be understood by people who wiped and wiped and wiped for months. WOW is a chore, a neverending work, a Mt.Everest of necessities. All achievements completed, all things collected, all bosses defeated - only then you can finally play.
Ah yes. The episode in which there was a human hunter before you could play them. :)Wondering if anyone tried to make an updated version of it. (same thing but using the newer models)
We weren't fans of the show but they did a South Park marathon on a weekend we were in New Orleans. Around the things we were there to do, we hung out in the hotel room and watched them, laughing our butts off. We have been playing since 08 (well, I have been, I got hubby into the game so I could get a Find-a-Friend Zevrah) and the episode was just hysterically funny. And yes, the "Ok Cartman..." has been said when the other is not wanting to take a break. We love that episode (and became fans of the show).Yay, granny and grandpa are into WoW AND South Park. :)
And
I was the exact same way. I had friends that played and raved about it, but I never tried it. However, I was (and still am) a HUGE South Park fan. After this episode, I immediately got the trial, and was hooked. This episode is responsible for many lost hours, and I am thankful for it.
"In an ongoing attempt to desexualize wow this southpark episode has been renamed "Make friends not warcraft"

That was the episode that got me into SP. Love that show <3
I 've seen or listened to this one as background noise probably 200+ times. Best episode followed by Free Willzyk and Butters very own episode.
This episode is the exact reason I started playing WoW back on Oct 4, 2004.
