You can't really be "forever" behind anyway, since there is a max rank that the cloak goes to. You might be some number of weeks behind when the first players max out their cloak rank, but then a few weeks after that, you'll have caught up with them. Unless the cloak system was unbounded on how many ranks there are, it is not possible to be "forever" behind. So, the worst is that maybe you are three or four weeks behind some other players getting your cloak to max rank... if you aren't playing the game enough to have stayed with the leaders, then you probably aren't playing enough for those three or four weeks, when they had max rank cloaks and you didn't yet, to matter. I don't really get how folks won't play the game properly, but then are furious that players who do play every day can get to max rank three weeks sooner than they do... and scream that they are "forever behind" because of this three week delay... as if they even play enough to have done things during those weeks where it would have mattered. Seriously, someone who is crying about being "Forever Behind", state what exactly will happen in those three weeks that you are delayed getting your cloak to max rank (while other players already have got there) that is going to ruin the game for you?
If I don't fail any run this week, I'll be one rank behind. I'm still waiting for the catch up stuff.. But hey! Thanks for the info guys!
I just did a 3-wing run (died in wing 4 as I was a wee bit 'over-pully' and *may* have had a bit too much corruption gear on kek) - but ended up getting 3 torn pages in the chests...I now have 7 pages after 3 runs! Anyone else have this happen to them?~Dink~**EDIT** According to a guildie, there is apparently a small chance for an additional page....lucky me! :)
I just did 2 full runs and only have 4
People don't understand that the catch-up mechanic is already in.It takes 4 runs this week minimum to complete the quest and if you do all your dailies and so on you can obtain more than 4 vessels a week which means you will eventually catch up due to you are having more vessels needed than doing the cloak upgrade for max ranked people. But I agree that making so the highest corruption zones drops pages too or lower the price to 3k instead of 5k would make it more interesting to get more involved with my alts.
do full clears of uldum / vale, and do your lesser vision. just don't miss them and you'll catch up pretty fast
Blizzard restricted level gaining by 1 per week which works as a catch up for others who couldn't put their maximum effort or misses a chance to completed the quest. Guess by catch up, most entitled people thought they are going to get a free level up.
Where is the info on how many runs you need past 12?
Even more runs needed this week. This "challenge" is going to end up just as a testament to who can bear running the same content again and again the most that week.
