same i think is not to early, Why? Cause there is not more Systems like Coventans/azerite powers/ChoregastIs only renown and that copy paste. There for there is no bunch of Systems that make people Grind more and cry more//Also i don't understand player base anymore. Now is too soon but if they put it 2023 then is too long wait .. Come on people Decide and put the mind in one thing
Probably is. Think is this probably is the last chance saloon of an expansion. I know its said all the time, but this time its different. There are too many good things out there that arent as poorly ran, predatory and half assed.I love wow and want it to last forever. Seems unlikely though if this is rushed out for bucks
So Feb. Of 2021 came 9.1 They have dropped everything most likely before that as Korthia was such as hallow shell So we are talking almost close to 2 years working on DF With most resources put into DF With the subtraction of barrowed powers and missions tables that adds for more devs to work and help else where.. I will play wow regardless just for that fact it has the most reliable combat system in any mmo tell me I am wrong for that. Yes more content is great for sure but what other game comes close to the combat smoothness of wow? Everyone who says it will be the death of wow will be back just to complain some more but still sub.
Of course it is. Your plate is empty, you are hungry and the game devs throw you a half cooked raw meat.Prediction: rushed buggy coding, total lack of content. Huge hype at release that dies super fast because the xpac was released without enough development time.
If I'm not mistaken they once said that there are atleast two teams who work on 2 xpacs, so basically they worked on Dragonflight while we had BfA. When they try to do some complex additions like "CHOOSE WISELY YOUR COVENANTS" and timegate stuff in order to keep you playing, I guess it makes them harder to produce a good product. I mean the main problem (after Legion) was a borrowed power. Once they gave us Legion artifacts, then they threw it away in a second. Then they understood the way of making people play the game > throw at them some kind of item they power up. I guess that's wat made people pay and play. But then they miserably failed at BfA with testing some builds (poor rogues with countless nerfs, I cant even imagine how you played) and powers. Nerfed and nerfed. (I dont even wanna mention lore and Sylvanas... BUT we had a good raid BoD I had fun there). So how I think it looks: If they really work on current expansion and in the same time with next one:While we had Legion, they observed how it worked and decided to stick to the plan with super borrowed power. So we had Heart of Azeroth. So in the same time we've got ours "you think that you want but certainly you dont" (I'm not really sure if I said it right, but it was during some of blizzconsabout vanilla). So vanilla's risen from the dead to show that people actually like the idea of having good time and adventure, simple talents and grounded stuff. But! They had Shadowlands in works. That's the same time when they had some crisis in company + they understood how their world actually works (hence player council and stuff). So they just threw to us VERY UNPOLISHED and bad product. I guess the SL should have been in 9.1.5 state right from the start, but w/e.My point is... Maybe they worked on it more than 3-4 years, like from the start. But I have no idea. I'm not trying to defend Blizzard here or Dragonflight team, we will see how it turns on in the nearest future, but... I really look forward. Just to see. One thing.Did they learn or threw away again their gaming experience away. That's gonna be a turning point for me.
What a pointless article. How can anyone claim to have an answer to this question with so little information available? This isn't even a question that should be asked, but sycophants are frothing at the mouth to get in line to talk trash about this game they hate but still play every day. It's incredibly tiring.
Way too early, but Bobby needs more money
The alpha/beta estimation for DF is still shorter than Legion, and Legion had the best release cadence of any expansion, bar none. Why would you screw with that success?I want Legion's alpha/beta cycle.
most people who posed with this question: "idk man what did asmongold say?"
If we don't believe anything ION says and a patch/tier was dropped from shadowlands that 4-5 month of production then went into Dragonflight then no it's probably not too early as 4-5 months after this year is when most people thought it would launch.
Yes, but tbh I'd rather have SL be done and over with at this point. Hoping Dragonflight will be a little bit better.
Under normal circumstances I'd agree, it is too early. However, when Shadowlands crashed and burned, word was they basically abandoned it, near enough leaving a skeleton crew to finish the patch cycle, while everyone else was moved over to 10.0. That being the case, they could be ahead of schedule, furthermore, there's no borrowed power or torghast or what have you, it's more straightforward this time. All that said, profession overhaul/talent trees/dracthyr Evoker, which will all need a fair chunk of testing.Guess we'll see.
What exactly do people think they'll be testing in the alpha/beta? There's only the new race/class (regardless of testing will be busted per usual for a 'hero' class), a slight profession revamp, guild wars 2 flying which looked like it already worked, and talent trees that they've done before except the trees are just filled with existing abilities that they know already work. So I'm not sure what people think they'll be testing in this alpha/beta. Shadowlands had way more to test with covenant systems (the upgrades, renown system, etc) not to mention the covenant abilities, the conduits, torghast, and legendaries. An extensive beta/alpha won't make things better, there's very little for them to iterate on compared to past expansions.
I am more worried about the lack of content in dragonflight.
Reminder that the only real answer here is that we don't know until we've seen how far along the alpha is. Any other answer here is hyperbole.
What is DF? When SL Beta ends? Really feels like its not officially started yet.
