world of charcraft. create more and more allied races and water down the game for our gazillion alts.
Well i guess i'm excited but i already have every class and i no way in hell am i getting a race change
Only the furries are excited lol.
I just want Sethrak
All these comments about "furries"... you realize that anthropomorphic animal races have been a staple of WoW since Vanilla? This isn't anything new.Methinks thou dost protest too much.
Yea right? At least they used to have some dignity (A gnome priest rides his giant flamingo mount to the farm to slay an award winning pig with the power of holy light)
They're silly scavenger desert rats with no deep and meaningful value to past or present history, a passer by race like many others in previous xpacs. "But they're cute/cool" isn't good enough to add them to the ranks IMO. Bring back the Hozen then too while you're at it. Instead of just scrambling to find a counterpart to releasing mechagnomes (The real reason they're allowing all but pants hidden) just have Horde (Again) just go "somewhere" and pick up old, known and more meaningful allies. There has to be a better choice than furry goblins, I know it's easy to please don't be lazy.
Take that with a grain of salt, "Only the furries are excited" guy is posting that on a warcraft fan site and his linked character is troll named "UwU" lol.
Arakkoa and Ogres. Lordaeronens (Lightbound undead) and Vulperas. High elves and Man'ari eredars. PLEASE, make it happen.
I would much rather the Horde getting already established members as Allied Races. Taunka and Revantusk Forest Trolls come to mind.
People are actually excited over these cowardly little rat creatures? Whose lore consists of failed supply trains, asking the Horde to deal with all of their problems, and spending most of their time as a victimised, brutalised people clapped in irons? I guess I really am out of touch... Well, at least Classic launches in August.Vorrik's faction of Sethrak joining the Horde would've been nice, and makes far more sense that they would join the Horde than the Alliance, for people thinking they belong in blue. As a people, they live up to Horde values - they have a history of resisting oppression (from the Faithless,) even before the Horde arrives. The Horde also storms the capital of the Faithless Empire and liberates their loa, too - they're a perfect candidate. The Vulpera just don't live up to Horde values. They spend their time hiding, they cannot stand up for themselves, and even though they have a pinch of the mercantile skill of the goblins, they lack the ingenuity, resourcefulness and will to fight that the Bilgewater Cartel has. What achievements do the Vulpera claim? "we're good at scavenging" - that's boring. Every other race has been shown digging things up - the Sin'dorei already have the Reliquary, and the Nightborne have reinforced that organisation. Both of those factions make the vulpera look like a joke, having various other strings to their bow like magical power, as well as the vulpera's 'claim to fame'.Faction assaults were a wasted opportunity to show some kind of cultural evolution of the Vulpera, the whole race following in the footsteps of that one NPC who actually does some fighting. Instead, we see them leading a support caravan that doesn't arrive at its destination, and is incapable of defending itself. I don't see why any warchief would want to invite these people into the Horde, unless they were looking to set up a class of people to shine shoes and polish armour. This is just a waste of a race slot. I understand Blizzard are lazy and want to just re-use the goblin skeleton, but the fact we're getting these useless little rats instead of something like OGRES or Revantusk forest trolls is a real disgrace.
MMOC listed them as an allied race around the time bfa was released. I wonder how many noticed this.Where was the talk about Vulpera when they were listed? :PEither mmoc knew something players didn't or they posted them as an allied race as a *what if* race.
Will transfer when it happens <3
I don't subscribe at the moment and don't plan to until Classic or a new expac, but thiiiiiis would bring me back, yes.
