I'm so glad that it doesn't show you what items you COULD have gotten, for the slots you didn't unlock in the previous week.
Since there's no LFR shown my guess(and hope) would be that just doing LFR won't be enough to get an extra shot at raid loot. As it should be.
Why does no one seem to care we’re going from 2 chests of loot down to 1 with options? I’m still salty it’s 1 option and not 3 separate loot options for putting in the time to clear 3 sets of content. People deserve a loot chest for each of the 3 sets of content. I think that’s clear as not everyone has time to clear all 3 sets every week that the raid chest was necessary, but I do think they should have you be able to select 1 option per row of content you cleared. That would also eliminate the need for a lot of “catch up” gear later on in the expansion imo.
My only thing with this is it should be an item from each row that you earn if you do all 9. So a chance to give 3 items. If blizzard is going to make loot so difficult to get in shadowlands.
Defeat 10 raid bosses AKA my raid team has a bench and I am punished for it if I sit out even 1 fight.
If you're replying to defend the 10 dungeon requirement I'm just putting you on ignore immediately but you do you I guess.
Good to know. It was imo assumed already that it would work this way but confirmation is still valuable.I still dislike this in comparison to what I feel we were promised or at the least implied was the design intent. Which was to give more choices. Which I admit I understood as more choices without a bigger grind. This system doesn't do that. I might get to 2 choices a week if I can be arsed but in practice I'll prob have 1, get as annoyed at the box of disappointments and quit the game in January when I keep getting an item for the same slot for the 8th week in a row while missing some crucial slots. Which is fine and the game will go on. I just feel there is (again) a missed opportunity here and the promises / hype for a system's design is (again) failed in implementation phase. Too many grinds and too much rng.
Well I kinda expected the raid weekly to reward raid gear, now hopefully they'll make it so you get only loot from bosses you've killed before at minimum. Else it doesn't matter to remove titanforging, they created the same problem. Making it so you can be in progression and get loot from boss you never killed, removing any need to kill further bosses.
