Quick fix to the mounting macro:#showtooltip/cast FLYING MOUNT; GROUND MOUNT/cast GROUND MOUNTThe problem before was it would try the first cast no matter what, and then attempt the 2nd and hit a "spell not ready yet" error. This should work in Dalaran.
Agreed
Not sure if it was posted, didn't read the whole thread >.>Helpful macro for warriors with the Glyph of Revenge#showtooltip/cast Revenge/cast Heroic Strike
I couldn't get the modifiers to work properly, so I just decided to use a right-click to force the ground mount. Another issue is that areas like Dalaran are flyable, since they're in Northrend, but disallow mounts. So is yes, but the area disallows it confusing the macro (breaking it).It isn't a terrible hassle for me to right-click on those rare occassions I need to force a ground mount. For leveling pre-77 in Northrend, I didn't see a need for a macro. There was something else I wanted to say, but I forgot.Regardless, everything seems to work pretty well, though simple. Of course, that was my goal. I'm also having fun reading about the macros you guys are using, but don't forget the Micro-Macro Philosophy! I'm seeing a lot of obsessive macros, filled with bloat. Saving space is good, but not at the cost of complicating your hotbar.I'm a firm believer in that if you can't play without that , then you need to get rid of it, immediately!
this macro is completely for fun. but it has the potential to customize a lot your character...#showtooltip/run local y={"randomstatement1","randomstatement2","randomstatement3",""}SendChatMessage(y)/cast SPELLNAMEHEREyou can do this for every spell/ability u have, and it makes the character to say one random statement you write into array y. the last one is an empty string so sometime it can be casted without saying anything. its very fun^^also i found that 3 statement with an empty string is good, because it pops frequentely but not always. if you like to /say less, just add more empty strings, if you like to /say always remove it.
The sell all grey items macro is realy tempting to get :OI NEED IT! :D
This is the one I use for aspect switching on my hunter. All it does is put all the aspects on one button, with modifiers. I normally use keybindings for most keys, but this is one I don't mind clicking, so it has right clicks in it./cast Aspect of the Dragonhawk; Aspect of the Viper; Aspect of the Cheetah; Aspect of the Pack; Aspect of the Beast; Aspect of the WildLeft click: Aspect of the DragonhawkRight click: Aspect of the ViperLeft click with either shift/ctrl/alt: Aspect of the CheetahRight click with either shift/ctrl/alt: Aspect of the PackMiddle button click: Aspect of the BeastMiddle button click with either shift/ctrl/alt: Aspect of the WildThis macro only just fits into the amount of characters allowed, but it saves me having six buttons on my bars, instead I have one!/cast Leatherworking; Alchemy; Cooking; First Aid; Basic CampfireThis is another similar one, to save button space. I don't like opening the spell book, even for professions, so I have this one. Change the names for your own skills, but this is Leatherworking on left click, Alchemy on right click, modifier and left for Cooking, modifier and right for First Aid, and middle click to cast a cooking fire.
The mount macro on the first page won't work for me? How do you get it to cast the land mount?
Casts one of 3 different heals or buffs, on your current (Friendly) target, or, if your target isn't friendly, on yourself, depending on which modifier key you are holding. Replaces 3 toolbar slots. For self-only buffs/heals, eliminate the first part of the appropriate line./cast (SPELL1);(SPELL1)/stopmacro /cast (SPELL2);(SPELL2)/stopmacro /cast (SPELL3);(SPELL3)If you have a fishing pole equipped, casts, otherwise opens cooking menu. Holding down “ALT” equips/de-equips fishing pole/equip (Your Fishing Pole Here);(Main Hand Weapon)/equip (Off Hand weapon/Shield/orb/wand)/stopmacro /cast Fishing;Cooking(I'm still using the old macro commands...there are probably new ways to do this that are less verbose.)
/cast Kill Shot/cast Steady Shot/thread~_^ Im sorry I couldnt resist
Old script that I got from Cosmos.com. This macro will add an undress button to your dressing room character. It allows you to view a new item without wearing anything else./script DressUpFrameCancelButton:SetText("Undress"); DressUpFrameCancelButton:SetScript("OnClick",function() DressUpModel:Undress(); end); DressUpFrameResetButton:SetText("Dress");Pally TauntRighteous Defense only works if you are targeting a player. Switching to the player in combat and then use Righteous Defense will mean a dead player. If you are targeting a player, then use Righteous Defense. If you are targeting a mob, it use your target's target which should be a player.#showtooltip Righteous Defense/cast Righteous Defense; Righteous DefenseTarget anything healRight click will heal you. If it's a player, cast a heal. If mob, then cast a heal on your target's target. Sometimes I find it easier to target the mob and then heal the target's target which should be the one getting hit.#showtooltip/cast I'll add more later
