Those trees have no points in them, at least on my end!
We are all starving for new info so they’re making articles like this just redigesting it over and over ... can’t wait for the alpha!
imagine one of the main feature of the next expac is just going to further illustrate the fact that blizzard has no idea of how classes/specs work in the game. It's too good :D I can't wait.
I think feral players was looking/hoping for something more from this tree. I was hoping for something to pro/anti flipping to Moonkin Form when you run out of buttons to press - something that completes the rotation. Alternatively fully implement the moonkin switch but make it activate Saberon form which allows casting and cat form abilities for a short duration. Also Bloodtalons and Brutal Slash should be basically baseline - they are what actually makes the spec fun and shouldnt be shunted to the left like it is.
The new talent trees are a massive dissapointment. Moving baseline abilities into talents is a slap in the face.Meanwhile, you see these guide writers saying how excited they are about the new talents. They are either smoking something or pandering to Blizz.
All of this! And yes, Sabertooth needs to die a slow, horrible death (I'm kidding. It needs to die really fast at this point).
At least it's not as bad as the BDK tree, half the talents I don't want, but I need to pick them to reach the stuff I do want. And most of it is unreachable because all the good stuff is spread out over various corners of the tree.Honestly, this feels like it combines the worst of both systems. On the one hand you have the restrictive nature of trees, getting in the way of interesting combo's by placing it on opposite sides of the tree and forcing you to pick crap you don't actually care about to reach the good stuff. And on the other hand you have the cookie-cutter "pick this obviously best talent if you want to do X" nonsense of the modern talent system...
While people in the wow forums have been screaming since the trees came out that the feral tree is garbo and needs reworked, it's good to see that FINALLY a spec writer actually criticizes blizz for their horrible job."Everything feral has in their tree is already active in SL." <---- this right here. Blizz spent zero time on the feral tree. They just threw whatever was already active in SL onto a tree with horrible pathing and called it a day.No one feral is still the champion for the LEAST played and LEAST represented out of all the specs.
I don't like it. There's nothing new here. And it doesn't seem thought out at all, for example, the DoT build with Adaptive Swarm (which i currently play and love) is on the opposite side to the other DoT talents, Draught of Deep Focus and Circle of Life and Death? Why?I thought cool talent trees like these were meant to be fun and allow an 'all-in' playstyle if you want, or a more general build. Like, I want to become a bleed-focused cat but really I can only half do that. If I want to be a burst bite-focused one, I can only half do that. Seems frustrating rather than fun.
Get rid of ferocious roar.
They could have kept all the base skills and used the skill tree by filling it with new effects, old legendaries, old set effects, and more. But not with basic class skills.
