Can we get an official inquiry as to why Stormkeeper has been broken on Alpha & Beta and now just recently in 9.0.2. Before .0.2, pre patch shadowlands allowed Ele to Stormkeeper, Echoing Shock, then Chain Lightning and still have the other Charge of Stormkeeper, now all of a sudden broken and no note about it. Thank you Shamans <3
This article was submitted before Pelagos nerf, right? If so, is Kyrian still viable?
What about an elemental shaman viable in pvp? I'm more interesting in 2v2. Has something changed or we are still more viable in RBGs?
Why can't blizzard just scale lava burst with crit and remove flame shock's cooldown? that would fix our aoe as well and every1 can agree into going necrolords for all contents.
Either remove Flame Shock CD or maybe give it 2 charges or something.. it feels really terrible in its current state.
very helpfull, im thinking of playing ele shaman as my alt, this is great, thanks
i am thinking of playing elemental, but enhancement also seems interesting hmmmmmmm
' If Shadowlands follows the pattern that has been established since Cataclysm then we'll be tuned to have relatively low single-target dps for the first tier.'This is the reason for why im depressed about playing elemental, just not having the numbers for quite a while. I switched to Spriest and is much happier.
Shadowpriest when? after Launch?
Unfortunately, Necrolord is almost useless for Enhance so if anyone wants to multi-spec, Venthyr or other covenants are probably better
Ughhh, I know most people reading this wont care but for someone that plays Resto AND Elemental these choices aren't as easy.Sure, I get that it really doesn't matter unless I am pushing high level keys, etc (which I am not)I just wish someone would do some guides on covenants for multiple specs.for me, I am targeting Deeply Rooted Elements as my first legendary since I heal in dungeons but DPS obviously while soloI hate being stuck to just one role and for other classes this is even harder, like druids where they have all 3 roles.
Some false/misleading info in this "guide" that will no doubt lead newer and less knowledgeable shamans astray.Echoes of the Great Sundering does not grant a free earthquake cast, and Elemental Equilibrium is currently simming the best for single target and solid for AoE, and certainly not "too weak to find a niche where it could be used".The Kyrian covenant ability is not "relatively strong on single-target", as even with the conduit for it it comes out to only about 264% spell power, or ~1.25 Earth Shocks, on the main target. Also it's pretty clear this guide is dated as the Pelagos nerf is not accounted for the in the linked souldbind tree, and the way Elemental Equilibrium is talked about makes me feel like this was written before the change in functionality to it happened over 2 months ago.
blizzard has clearly never played a shaman
