yezh... everyone explained why Paladins, Shamans, Druids, DH are the last to get added if they add them... but what about Warocks and Monks?
But but but the stealth hoofs joke
and yet another feature to unbalance the factions.. Horde now have 107 classes and alliance only have 103 classes. If you're going to do this Blizzard you just need to get rid of all of the restrictions.
pleade pandaren demon hunter
"Content requirements and lore requirements" is why your favorite race/class combo is not available.TBH, I don't know that I like this without significant content to justify it. For example, Sure, a forsaken paladin is cool, but how does that even work? So to tell that story and do that justice likely takes a lot of effort to create. Another example, I have a lightforged draenei death knight. This is also sort of, lore breaking. They could have made the effort to justify in the lore, but the best we got was "bolvar's awake, here's new DKs". I'm all for adding new combos where it makes sense. For example in Cataclysm there were numerous quests about night elves reclaiming ruins/artifacts to study their highborne heritage and allowed mages to rejoin their society. Stuff like that goes a long way to making the game feel good. It feels like cheap pandering when they just give something out. That said, rogue and mage make sense for any race, and priest has been made generic "holy wizard" compared to earlier wow, where it was more heavily themed to the race's faiths, so these ones all work. Also, what's up with re-posting these tidbits from interviews days later?
BFA novel shows Anduin, who went from priest to paladin, using void magic at the end. The author said that was Blizzard who specifically wanted that scene in the book.So Void Elf paladins might not be so farfetched. Some Light and Void mixing isn't specifically brand new. Priests do it. Maybe they're waiting on an 11.0 Light/Void expansion to ease restrictions on that. Also we've had Forsaken paladins since vanilla. >.>
Please give us Nightelf Paladin and Shaman its a MUST HAVE otherwise i have to start slapping on GM Islands door with my Nightelf Priest equipped with a Mace and Plate mog PLEASE
While we're at it, Wildhammer Druids, please. Also: if I can be a priest, and I can be a warrior (i.e. any race), I should be able to add 2+2 to make 4=paladin, no?Also also: I've always fancied being a Nelf Lock (male). There's just something about the grimace, the inner anguish in the casting animations and the shadowiness that suits warlockery for me, lore be damned.
Tauern and Draenei rouges... Tell me it's a joke.
Cmon Blizzard legion show us night elf paladin, we want this combo ..
They haven't done Shaman or Paladin like this because it would require the art team to make unique mounts and totems, so hopefully we get them in the future
