Cool, one small step towards the new UI not being a half finished, buggy mess. This fixes maybe half the gripes I've had with it since it was launched in such a low quality state.
How about we move the Achievement pop up aswell?
I'm still waiting for the option to move the pet frame.
Why didn't they do this at the start? Why they always gotta half bake this in to patches. Clearly this was needed at start.
Cool we can move the xp bar but the new bar is still sorta trash. It can't be placed in an absolute zero position so that the bar is flush with he screen edge. It will always have a slight gap to it
Hopefully the armor repair model will be moveable too, its hanging on to the side of my screen for dear life.
to everyone who wants OLD RAID FRAMES:this has moved to the OPTIONS menugo to game menu>options>interface, scroll all the way down, and your options are there (class colors, energy bars, show main tank, frames expanding vertically vs horizontally, etc.)please note that you do have to set frame positioning thru UI edit mode, and you have to do this THREE times (once for each raid size-10,25, 40)that saidhopefully the moveable bags include when they are OPEN- I don't really have a problem with the mini menu....but the open bags sit over my side bars! which makes it really hard to drop things from bags onto those bars :(What about the icon for multiseat mounts? and the extra bar that appears under 'mini' map? (for anima powers, etcI miss that the UI used to automatically move/resize when you popped out the raid frame edit thing(which still exists but now comes out under my raid frames causing me to have to go into edit mode and move stuff to close it >< )
yeah.. still an awful, unneeded update that shipped horribly unfinished and continues to wreak havoc on the functionality of many addons in the name of modernization. tired of the constant UI taints and LUA errors because they redid everything under-the-hood (how scripts/coding are written for UI elements). they basically just made moveanything but 100x worse, with absolutely 0 customization in comparison. it's like a sad copy of ffxiv's (also terrible) UI edit mode but made for toddlers. can't even do manual coordinates or anchoring with any ease. blizz really needs to stop trying to copy popular addons while butchering them in the process and reducing the quality of their game. how is it possible that we go from this to this. it's like a5 wagyu to a mcdonald's cheeseburger.moveanything vs edit mode example
I hope they'll enhance nameplates next (either 10.0.7 or 10.1). Also would love an option to edit the party & raid frames to not have to rely on addons for more info on those (CDs for example for party members). Overall the less we need addons for basic info (for example, dispelable spells or diseases on party members without an addon, is there a way nowadays?), the better in my opinion.
I´m still surprised that they couldnt got that done for the expansion release, especially the xp bar.
what about the $*#(ing chatbox?
The fact that they keep fleshing out the feature in the very next patch, a small one no less, gives me hopes that they'll consistently continue to update it over time with popular requests. Fingers crossed we can eventually craft something decently good and working without having to rely on addons as heavily.
Im still struggling to sort group and raid ui to sort by role. Anyone got a fix? I want tanks on top, with healers under and rest of dps to fellow. Like old "sort by role"
Awesome. Yeah still a ways to go with a few missing features but we're getting there!
I would love to be able to get the old icons back for bags and the bar below (the one with collections, achievements, group finder, etc.).If anyone knows if there's an addon for that, please let me know :)
