If they plan on keeping DoTs builds for Druids with the new talent trees they NEED to make sure they aren't laughable weak like necrolord druids are on live servers.
thanks for making the preview easier to read :pi dont play a Druid so browsing & thinking through the official preview in list format was a bit like taking a test or somethingmuch appreciated ^_^
adaptive swarm without the covenant legendary seems pretty laughable, make adaptive swarm bonus jumps baseline and nerf dmg of the spell slightly
If they keep it this way they are going to be insane and im here 4 it
Scent of blood is such a waste of a talent point. Can we ditch it and get Wild Flesh Rending please?
Can we get 1 min convoke please.
I know this is an early, early work-in-progress. But as someone who's been playing a druid main forever and has been playing around with a homemade calculator I made in Photoshop, I find these new trees confining and basically taking away quality of life combinations that I currently enjoy.Want to have a defensive dispel? You're going to have to spend some points in the resto abilities. Gotten used to kiting with Ursol's Vortex? It's now -- for all intents and purposes -- mutually-exclusive with this other form of control you're used to having. Oh, and be prepared to "waste" several points in the class tree on spells you'll never use to get there.Sort of feels like I'm having to work harder to get less of the stuff I'm used to...
Does this look they want to add a weaker version of Tigersfury baseline that you have to improve then?I'd rather want to add with talents than loose things and have to get them back through talent points.
Why they even work on dead spec...Feral is always behind from other classes and specs and i dont expect a surprise in dragonflight.Feral had a chance to be good at start of season 3 but they nerfed him to the ground.Hail survi... ehh.
Feral's tree is garbo. Needs reworked.
These old spell Ikons are ugly af. They need to be updated ASAP.
It would have been nice for them to have taken the opportunity to give Feral an option of not being completely bleed-based. Though i suppose you could argue that would be such a split tree as almost to give druids a fifth pseudo-spec, which would be kinda greedy. In general, I'm intrigued to see how the class side will work for classes that are pure DPS, where the mix'n'match hybridisation options we've seen with druids and DKs wouldn't work out. (For instance take away Blood, and looking at DK from a Frost perspective, I don't really see much of use in the Unholy side.)Also, for a DPS that uses different weapons from the associated tank class (Warrior, Paladin). How can Ret or Fury/Arms choose tanky abilities from the Prot line of the class tree, if they depend on equipping a shield?
people forget that these are just reworked talents, they are not extra stuff like conduits or legendaries. you don't lose anything, you get to choose them while leveling, and having to spend a single point to get back, lets say berserk, will not have the same value as spending a point in live, since you'd have more that 50 talent points. when you fill out the tree, your class would be mostly the same, with some cool hybrid spec choices. and in times were you'd pick a 4% dmg increase over an interrupt, and get decked for not interrupting, you'd learn that this was a huge mistake.I mostly like how it is, but the choices are all things we have seen before, nothing new and nothing that expands/complexifies your class. without getting any new powers (besides tier-sets) everything will be kinda meh, since we'll be playing mostly the same specs from shadowlands.I'd like to see we get a bit more points (maybe we get 2 points instead of 1 every 10 levels) for more NEW choices.
I hope they're able to setup some neat choices and push builds and such.
So you still chose between soul of the forest and incarnation... seems to me exact same things with different "UI".
