Honestly i prefer to see galakrond rather than chromatus
Dragonflight is the mobile game not the expansion!
That image of the cover art can't be a hoax because it was leaked only an hour or so after the dragonflight.blizz code thing was found. I guess it could be a coincidence or based on other rumors, but I don't think so. Also, the color registration isn't actually linked to that image, if you look closely - they are separate pieces.
I hope this is real.
I don't think bad mmo-c / 4chan "leaks" that already have confirmed misinformation should be posted to wowhead but that's just me.
Firstly, I want to say that this leak SCREAMS ''fake!''. It includes all the typical ''leak'' features we've seen since TBC such as player housing & tinkers. Secondly, I want to add that these ideas suck and I don't know why anyone would even want them to be true. Let's start with the zones, why would we want another set of disconnected zones that we have to teleport/travel between after Shadowlands when the Dragon Isles could comfortably constitute 5+ zones. Think about it, everything about that idea lines up perfectly. There are 5 Dragonflights and so you could do one zone themed around each flight and then a central 6th zone which is where the heart of the expansion's conflict would take place (perhaps this could be a titan facility like Uldaz). Wasting revamps of Lordearon & Quel'thalas on an expansion that is themed around dragons seems foolish to me. Such ideas could be saved for the likes of a ''Light takeover'' expansion starring Yrel & Turalyon (whom are serving their 'Light Lord' overlords) as the big bad/s. Then let's talk about ''one-spec classes''. I'm sorry but this idea makes literally 0 sense. Think about the implications of such an idea. Do each of these classes have their own unique toolkit or do they share abilities with other pre-existing classes? If they do share with other classes then why aren't they just specialisations for said classes? If they don't share then how is this easier than making just one new class with 4 specialisations? At least they would share the same basic toolkit. What about talent trees? Do each of these classes have their own talent trees that have to be balanced? What about tier sets? Will the art department have to make 4 new unique tier sets from now on? If the solution is just to make them share tier sets with other classes then again I ask, why not just make them specialisations for the classes they are otherwise going to be sharing with? Also, what makes these specific ''one-spec class'' ideas anymore deserving of being a class than the ''class skin'' ideas that are also laid out in the ''leak''. If Blizzard doesn't want to add a full new class then ''class skins'' seem like the obvious next step. It's just like allied races but for classes. It has 0 impact on gameplay, reuses pre-existing content/assets whilst providing an entirely new fantasy. Finally, the ''continued order hall questlines''. The only reason these made sense in Legion is because they were highly relevant to your character and it's RP because the order halls were class specific. But now, according to this ''leak'', we will just be offered a seemingly random mix of them that players of ALL classes will have to choose from. I have to ask but what reason do the likes of, let's us say, a DK or a DH have to join these covenants. As much as I don't like covenants in Shadowlands, at least they have a much stronger sense of identity and thematic relevance to the expansion then these ''Dragonflight'' ones would have. One final point on this, just like with the zones where I said that the idea of 5 zones themed around the 5 dragonflights was too fitting to pass up, the same goes for a potential covenant 2.0 system. Why have us join this random selection of irrelevant orders from Legion when they could have us choose one of five dragonflights to serve and gain cosmetic rewards from themed around that flight. It just makes way more sense imo. Conclusion: Fake leak (99% sure) & poorly thought out ideas (looking at this as a fan concept). Either that or the ideas are so bad that it actually makes the leak more legit because it's Blizzard we're talking about here.
Why would Silvermoon become a hostile city though?
I wouldn't mind "housing" garrisons weren't "that" bad. If they made a way to continue to level your garrison to match current expansions, I'd be ok with it, as long as it wasn't "necessary" to continue the story.
If WoWhead is an authoritative source on the game then they shouldn't be publishing random message board posts without doing some investigative work first.
Class skins is a fantastic idea, as long as it isn't monetized.
there are think from this "leak" that make me doubt.Like class skins, why they will spit on some class and no other. And how a Dark ranger fit on a Night Elf hunter, is like becoming undeth after the burn of their city, it just doenst fit. That why i doubt this leaks. The non level cap can work if they introduce some system like GW2 have the Mastery system. If not is hard to motivate ppl to do quest when there is no actual reward from it.
hope they're finally doing better than that
I never played healer spec before, not playing wow right now (didnt like this expansion) but if tomorrow they REALLY CONFIRM THIS "MINSTREL" i will play this meme class just for the lols.
So all the leaks were true.
Now that we have Dragonflight revealed, look at the logo on that leak - it's exactly the same. So the leak was genuine, at least the photo.
This didn't age well.
