For the people thinking, oh this can't be right because there are still Night Elf refugees in Stormwind after Teldrassil's burning.Except that at the end of BfA, Tyrande moved her people from Stormwind to Nordrassil because she was tired of Anduin. So as far as we know, the Night Elves are stationed in Nordrassil until Tyrande plants that seed that Winter Queen gave her.
What the heck Blizzard? A Time Skip does not fit here. WoW has always been a continuous story without skipping. If anything Blizzard hasn't had enough lore years pass compared to real life years. But the Events of patch 9.2.5 have already established a linear progression with the Forsaken starting to reclaim the Undercity, and the Night Elves given the tools to bring their own renewal on Azeroth. You can't skip years forwards from that point. You just can't.
I will say a time skip is needed. That the lore team is even messing with it implies that it's probably still being considered at some point.Could even be they decided to do it after DF, if we do face Murozond again before he goes to the End Time, then it could be his doing that we experience a time skip...
Gotta feeling this is gonna be another WoD. Just instead of garrison+ mission table we get dragon racing...
Wouldn't that put Greymane into his 90's by now canonically?
Wranduin train anyone? choo-choo
To me, this screams "a vision of a possible future".
Time skip would make blizz obliged to change alot of the world aspects (zones - cities - terrains ) , it would not make any sense , cause if there is an actual 7 years have passed with nothing in the world have changed it would be so cheesy and unrealsitic.Unless they are holding some surprises for us who knows!Edit: Things that should be changed in a 7 years period ( World tree regrown - Gilnies city free - Loredron city free - east/westeren (minus) plagueland ) massive declines on the scourges)the world (azeroth) should have some peace from all of the past cosmos powers (arcane - fel - death - void - light ) it should be only as it presented Dragons vs elments (the original inhabitant)
I hope they soon gives us some new content. WoW are so boring right now.
Not suprised at this from Anduin. He risked all his own troops lives by pissing about and running round like a child for the whole Pandaria expansion, now he's basically abandoned his entire kingdom for YEARS just to mope around feeling sorry for himself?
I’d say this rather seems to imply that it’s dialogue meant for later in the expansion. The “awakening” of the Dragon Isles was - seemingly - triggered by the Jailer’s attack on Azeroth, after which the heroes returned shortly after. It’s worth considering that:
