TLDR: "We are sorry but in fact not so sorry."
Hmm you were talking about every other healing classes should get absorb also, but the cool thing about healers are they are all having their advantages and disadvantages, and saying that its not fun for other healers to heal a lets say less then 10% tank back up to full is BS, if a Disc priest trows a shield on him and hes at 10% or less, the other heals have not done the job right, cause if the shield was not trowed at him at that time, chance is that the raid would have lost a tank or another class.Fun part is that they all are so different that i even have 3 healer classes my self, cause they are fun to play each of them, each in their own way, if they all had the same skills, i would not really see any fun in having more then 1 healer. And beside that the absorb from disc, yeah its great but it only stops the damage for a short while, (and you cant just cast it after 1 sec on the target again) all depends on what boss and @#$% that happens, and as said if the tank or for that matter any one else is under 10% the "healers" have not done their job, yeah some might say well why did you not cast shield before then, well i might have, but its a cool down on how often you can trow it on the person, so i rather have a disc priest that prevent some one dying then loose ½ the raid and end with a wipe, loosing a few men yeah then CR, oh yeah by the way why do Disc priest not have CR, Druid have that, should every class then not have that also, since its such a life/raid saver also?, and beside that they already gave Disc the nerf back before WoD, when they removed disc ability to heal with damage, thought that was a really nice feature :(And another thing i think its great they go back so Destro will be ok to play again, cause i kinda gave up on my lock, cause they kinda forced us all to go choose 1 spec, which i do not like, i want to play the spec and class i like to play, not the one Blizzard thing every one should play, just like when BM hunters was bad, every one said go MM, you will do 2-3k more DPS, well yeah i might but i like my BM hunter, so whats the fun in playing some thing i do not like to play, its the freedom every man have, i do not like to get told what to do and what to play, i play for the pleasure of my self, and if i do not enjoy playing 1 thing, i simply do not play it, even that every one else tells me its way better, after all for me the game must be fun, if not then i see no reason to play.
all i can say is that i knew they give up into the flying thing, is part of the content they dont still some people arent happy with that, the reson they take away and put back in is comparable to making "bad guys" of characters with the potential of a good development in the lore because they need some "bad guy" for an Raid/expansion.
I really don't understand why there has to be a "worst" spec. I mean, the way the put it, it makes it sound like the team put no effort into balancing the specs for warlock at all. I expect more from Blizzard, rather than just deciding to make a certain spec "the worst." Career demo locks (which I am not, I play ret) should be able to play their spec just as effectively as any other spec, and should not be forced to switch in order to maximize dps.I really expect more from Blizz. The more I see these guys, the more I regret paying them money. I mean... just look at em. It's like they have absolutely no passion for the game at all; like answering the community's questions is nothing but a dull chore. Of course, this is just my opinion. But I would expect a little more from the designers of the best MMO in the market. I just found some of their responses, and even their attitude a little pathetic.
Thematically, it makes no sense to want to encourage Warlocks to play any other spec but Demonology at this point in WoD's story.Consider it.This is HELLfire Citadel. Hell, as in where demons reportedly reside.Who is the centerpiece of this batch of content? The Legion. Legion-corrupted Orcs and Arakkoa. You know, demons.Who's the bad guy that "gets away"?Gul'dan. Wouldn't it make sense for my demonologist character to want to fight Archimonde, in order to wrest his secrets and move towards absolute power?Of course it would. That would be fun, and fun to immerse one's self in.I mean, that bursts with fel-flavor. The whole idea of fighting the legion as a fire mage with possibly dodgy morals is, in comparison, a little bland. The designer could probably work on his bedside manner a touch. I felt like his response came off as incredibly condescending. I understand that being told that you do math badly, when you very obviously don't, can rouse this type of response. But this response also entirely mutes legitimate arguments about the math being flat-out excessive, and how this makes the game significantly less fun and rewarding (two things Blizzard always makes central to their rhetoric) for the base of players that love the Warlock class. It's a great class. In any RPG of any kind I've ever played, WoW Warlock is my favorite by a mile. That's just me, and frankly, I won't kid myself that it means anything. But, maybe consider reeling back from 25%?Maybe 12?I'll take 13. Whatever it takes.I agree, Chaos Wave is absurd. Probably needed a nerf.Sorry, bargaining. I'll get to acceptance eventually.Maybe.
I would like to know the rationale behind removing the glyph to allow mages to self heal?
