A lot of people don't care about rushing to 60 especially when you will have virtually no endgame content to "farm" on the first few days...and the rest are people who will be mad that you released their "ultra secret OP speedrun strategy" to the public
Yay more quest lines that force players to try and beat others to kill a mob just to progress the main story of an xpac. I am so sick of abusive game design.
Folks, consider that blasting through the questline as fast as possible might not be what you enjoy the most. If you're one of those people but don't want to feel like you're falling behind, get ahead in something else. Tbh I don't know what get enabled before completing the questline, but maybe we can start gathering some ores to have something for the AH while others do the questing and reach the point where they need the mats?
just curious why so much emphasis and attention towards getting through stuff as quickly as possible? speedingspeed leveling, avoiding stuff, tricks and gimmicks to avoid/bypass stuff..It's all kind of against being in a world and raises awareness towards not enjoying the game at one's own pace. It'd be pleasant to suggest a scenic route or at least articles countering the 'bypass everything' - and bring light to the the merits / benefits of going slow
I'm up for the FULL Experience, with lag and everything! My body is ready! :D
Instead of 5,000 versions of each of the 6 BfA zones, they spawn 30,000 of Maw... same in theory.Good to be prepared, but it should be smooth. If people are rushing, then speed boosts and the like all make sense anyway, but if not, a quest chain or three taking 3x longer because of a lot of people is not that big of a deal anyway; I don't see the quest flow as specifically a problem given how sharding is used (WoD planting flag style issues not withstanding).
This is going to turn in to a classic speed up to a red light while the person going the speed limit catches up to you and waits at the red light right along with you. With everyone doing this the few that don't will have a less cluttered experience and still catch up to the speed mongers that think they're going to get things finished faster along with 10000000 other people trying to kill the same mob.
