Can anyone tell me what these bosses drop that's worth going into this mega mess..
Do the people here not realize that the dungeon is already "ahead of schedule"? No one is making casuals wait until 10.2 for heroic. The dungeon wouldn't be realized until then ANYWAY if we went by all previous mega dungeons (with the heroic/m+ version actually being a .3 addition for all but Tazavesh). The difficult version gets released early and everyone else gets it on time or early still and people still whine and complain.
it's a heroic and not mythic dungeon. I want to AFK my way through it. Since there are 8 bosses, it has to be easy since otherwise it'll take more than 30 minutes.
I've been around since (actual) vanilla, and the amount of ridiculous complexity added to WoW over the years has been a hugely unnecessary block for me and many others. Combine that with the fact that most WoW players are now a bit older with greater responsibilities and less willingness to no-life a video game, and it's no wonder stuff like this is being nerfed. It probably needs to be nerfed even more. For those who might remember dungeons and raids from vanilla, they were a walk in the park compared to the stuff Blizz is putting out now. Not easy, but just challenging enough. And you know what? People loved it and the game was hugely successful. Imagine that.
Wtf, 2.7 million health absorb on the tank and the author of this text has the audacity to call it "unfortunately"99% of the healers would have zero fun on this boss, for very good reasons. Nerfs are needed and properly.
All this arguing over how difficult the dungeon should be when the best solution is to just release the heroic mode versions at the same time as the mythic versions. That way the hardcores can get their super difficult dungeon and the casuals can enjoy the story without two months of spoilers to dodge. It's already in the PTR files, they just have to flip a switch.
