Was going to check the official forums to see if Blizz has said anything... and the forums are throwing a 404 error.Small indie company.
It's not materials based. I tested orders with no mats, some mats, and all mats. Some items craft, others don't. It's not profession based; all profs have some items that craft and others that don't. It's not orders from alts versus strangers. It's not consistent; it's just that some items are crafting and others aren't.Edit: I also tested stackable versus nonstackable. Some craft, others don't. Again, no obvious pattern.
I was trying to fill orders and surprise another bug with the order system pretty nice :)
Orders with "Some" provided work correct, so just don't provide everything if you need to complete something.
I just completed a leatherworking profession tool public order with all mats supplied on EU without any issues.
this was present for less than 10 minutes, atm there is no issue with orders which provided matz
It appears you need to have any supplied materials also in your bags as a crafter. I'm not sure, but I think "in your bags" means on your person, gbank doesn't seem to count. At least, that is what seems to work for me (and reddit comment seems to agree). It does look like any supplied mats will actually be used, and the ones in your bags won't be depleted, but they need to be there for the craft to complete.
There was a little update that came after the servers went up, I wonder if they tinkered with something in prep for the patch. Oh well, very annoying.
I was able to make the blue fishing tool on my engineer with all mats provided, but that's the only luck I've had so far with public orders across all crafting types.
i've done several this morning, they all worked fine. with mats included
