I thought the fishing weekly took longer than usual, with me only catching a normal fish together with a quest one every 4-5 casts. Glad it wasn't just my imagination.
Ok but they still have not fixed the problem with professions at the Darkmoon Faire. When will that issue be addressed? The quests should either give profession skill ups for the most recent expansion, Legion, or offer a choice as to which expansion you'd like to use the 5 points for. Right now those quests are pretty much useless with the exception of the tickets you get.
I feel like that resilience nerf to low level gear was due to the Asmongold duels from the weekend.
"The sound of Hot Buttered Popcorn no longer travels far across zones."This is hilarious... I'd have laughed my ass off if I'd had this happen to me. Seriously, I'm picturing a Grand Canyon-like setting... just chilling, enjoying the view, when suddenly, "POP... POP... CHOMP... CHOMP..."
GM responded it's a bug and will be corrected ... a day ...
Still no news why some character’s professions were completely reset to 1 and all spells unlearned.
Just checked with a boosted char that had (prior to 8.0):- 151 cooking : got a +5 cooking skill (vanilla)- 240 fishing : got +5 fishing skill (vanilla)- 734 herbalism : got zero (legion)- 797 skinning : got zero (legion as well)So nope. Except for Archaeology who still uses the old scale, all the other quests only give vanilla skill.
Professions FishingDarkmoon Faire Island now requires Fishing rank 150 to avoid catching junk (was 600).Still getting junk >150 ie the
Easy solution for the darkmoon fishing quest: look for pools, those *always* work. Sure, I needed a few minutes (<10, maybe even <5) to find 5, but that's far better than fishing with the bugged state it had on Sunday.
Darkmoon fishing was messed up regardless of skill level. Somewhere in middle of nearly 20 casts I had one non-junk result, despite being at max skill. Then, all of sudden, junk stops and it's all good fishing once again.
I hope the functionality to use trinkets in BGs stays, I like the diversity it offers.
It's not that the profession quests are supposed to only give point for the current highest tier. I believe it's the opposite. They're only supposed to give points for Vanilla tier, up to 100.
