Several of these will be absolutely mandatory, forcing PvE players to PvP to get them.I'm sure everybody's gonna be just fine with that, right?
I'm seeing Druids and Monks as the winners of these Essences. I feel like they may have their traits changed before live. Crane will easily put MWs as the top healer for M+. You'll be able to pull half the zone and just have the MW pop crane and SCK the pack which will do crazy high DPS and super crazy high healing essentially making everyone in the group immortal (assuming they can't get 1 shotted) and they'll be able to do this every min which is basically every pull. Later RDrus, MWs are the new M+ kings.
Please for the love of god, not smoke bomb. Don't force me into taking an essence because it's it's utility is absolutely necessary for the raid.
'All classes feel the same''Omg, essences aren't mindless dps increases for every spec'
Druids get cool stuff. Everyone else gets trash. Affliction one is a dps loss too lol.
haha, nice rogue gets another nice utility for m+ :) mandatory class #1
Didn't expect to be able to pick my own talent, but was hoping they'd somehow overlook being able to lust every minute for me and a raid member.
A few of them will be absolutely mandatory for PvE raiders.Moonkin: 12% spellcrit for 8 other playersFeral: 5% melee/ranged crit for the entire raidRogue (all 3 specs): Smoke bombMany of the rest will still be best in slot for their spec, so those players will be obliged to PvP also, but not strictly mandatory to buff the entire raid or enable a strategy. We can all look forward to patch 8.3, when completing a mythic pet battle dungeon will reward similar raid buffs based upon the species of your currently equipped non-combat pet. /s
Looks at unholy... So we are getting #$%^ed again?
Where even said that you get this essence from PvP? And does it work like extra pvp talent in pvp?
Necrotic strike in PVE? Do devs even play this game? Do they even know what that talent does? No wonder why BFA class balance is in this state... Im glad that Classic is coming.
This Essence is just like the other spec based one, Vision of Perfection. Its usefulness/power seem to vary A LOT based on the spec. It's worthless for some specs (UH/Arms) and pretty much mandatory for others (Feral/Balance/MW for M+). Just like how Vision is worthless for some specs and OP for others.
Didn't even have to look to know which one Ret would get. I've been asking for that talent to be baseline, I guess this is their answer. It should still be baseline, not some azerite trait.
Hope this won't work in mythic raid/dungeons. Force pve ppl to do rated pvp to buff raid is... lame.
Why do people come out saying the sky is falling whenever something requires pvp to obtain? Pvp players have had to participate in pve content for innumerable things for more than a decade now, whether they enjoy that content or not. But that's somehow okay? I've spent less than 1% of my WoW playtime in pvp and even I think it's totally fine if obtaining this essence requires doing it.
