I dunno why they wanna die on the water elemental hill. Add a "tome of peaceful waters" to a vendor in the mage class order hall, that teaches a different spell that just summons a slightly smaller water elemental, with a hat or something so it's different, that is a non-combat pet. Then the mage RPers can hang out with their water buddy whenever they want and the devs get .. whatever it is they want from this.
Delete this garbage spec ffs
"Acquisition of the Evoker Legendary changed as they realized the psychology of something that starts off as exciting, but once enough weeks pass and periodic global reminders of other people's good fortune and your lack thereof turns it into something that is more negative."#"The goal is to keep loot exciting but also have a safety net to limit frustration."nice only took them 9 IDs of people getting frustrated to implement a stacking "safety net" that starts on the 10th ID.let me repeat that: the bad luck protection starts its slowly stacking effect on the 10th week. more than half way over the time this item will even be relevant.good job on holding off. an appropriate time wouldve been like 3-4 weeks after first possible drop ID
I don't wanna lobby for the spec that I play but let's put it this way. Before 10.1.5 it took about 30-40 minutes to find a m20 key for vault. Now it's impossible. Thanks for doing absolutely nothing to allow all specs to have equal chance for m+ content. You've made it worse for us little guys to play the game
How do they not realize that in order to know if I'm pressing the right buttons in the right order on auvoker, I need have real time data? I need instant feedback of what the result is. Should I have used breath? Should I have extended, or kept my resource for next pull? Am I using prescience the correct way by auto-casting or should I focus on the top DPS? etc.The _only_ reason it doesn't matter that there are no real-time dps logs atm is due to the spec being slightly OP in M+, but in raid I have absolutely no clue how well I'm doing.I'm not surprised this is their stance, I am disappointed
I like Ion's answers in general, especially about loot and gearing. Loot that is too deterministic would be bad for the game, simple as that. But I really hope they do something for Aug on dmg meters, their dmg should be properly tracked and you should have a way of knowing if you are doing as much as other dps in the group because at the end of the day Aug is a dps spec.
You released completly overpowered augmentation spec that ruined LFG in both medium and high keys 26+.M+ is so corrupted because u don't wanna nerf instantly something that is clearly just too op. Literally no spot for other classes other than augmentation, priest and mage. They are too broken and u don't even need to be insane to time high keys. Evokers that havent touched 25s are easily getting invited into 26/27s, just because of how OP they are.NERF IT IMMEDIATELY
They should add the observer as a new pet.
Revert every buff that was recently made to casters in PvP + remove precog. Thx
Other than range and how often you need to cast prescience (as others have mentioned), the main issue I have seen with aug is that it is just to strong at the high end but is also so weak at the mid to low end.Because with Aug you are completely dependent on the dps you have in your raid or m+, if you are not grouped with 90+ parsers you are almost always better off going dev or taking a real dps class. They really need to find a way to lower the impact in high end groups but raise it at the lower to mid end.
"If things are too predictable, you can almost take out a calendar and circle the days on which you'll get your goals and there's no spikes of excitement and that's why the rare items are to keep some of those chase goals."This is just wrong. THere's no excitement about RNG. There's already plenty of excitement within content of the game. Please stop with the loot casino system.
