Another NPC last seen in Classic has been found in the Shadowlands.
Heralath Fallowbrook
was a quest giver that could be found dying from their wounds in Razorfen Kraul. They would beg Alliance players to recover a pendant - stolen from them by the Quilboar - and bring it to their wife,
Treshala Fallowbrook
, in Darnassus.
Heralath
can be found sleeping in Soryn's Meadow at 65.4, 45.6 in Ardenweald. Their Soulshape form is Nightsaber. If you speak to them, they will murmur in their sleep, showing they're still worried about their wife to this day,
Zzz... return... Treshala... Darnassus... Zzzz...
Interestingly, while
Heralath Fallowbrook
presented as male in Classic,
Heralath
seems to have a feminine voice in Ardenweald. This could suggest Pelagos from Bastion isn't the only trans character we'll meet in Shadowlands. Read more about the character of Pelagos below:

I just love the tiny details blizzard adds here!
Yea. If only the major details didn't suffer for it. It takes no effort to put down an unattackable npc looping a sleep animation and giving it a specific name and 5 lines of dialogue. But hey, let's ignore all the other lackluster details of the game for the sake of "member? i member".

I like that we're finding out the fates of some of our OG NPCs.

You mean the dog from your farm?
