no special reward, I pass
oh well another event thatwas a waste of dev time since torgaste is dead
Working my way through the Ardenweald storyline with just the revendreth one after then i get to explore this torgast place! cant wait to see what this is like!
no wings are listed on the front page today - what wings are up?
Major improvement on the first Torghast event. Very unique playstyle and works both in a solo or group setting, might feel a little lackluster the first pull or so but after your second anima power or so begins to feel very fun, fast paced, and rewarding. Remember there's no cooldown shifting in and out of the dread soul so you can go back to your normal form pop CDs/Trinkets maybe cast your covenant ability and then shift back (in fact several anima powers will even buff this playstyle).
It is fun but don't try to switch in and out while in combat - it breaks and then you are stuck until your reload
A colossal middle finger to solo players. This makes the already abysmal content that is Torghast vastly worse. Thanks, blizzard.
Being able to ride together as a group sounds like a lot of fun, with one exception:Could we please change phantasma looting so that if one person loots phantasma, every person automatically gets their phantasma amount, the way gold looting in a group works? I can see the "tank" that you're riding looting his share and moving on, then someone having to get out and run back because they didn't have a chance to loot yet, etcetc. Having to loot individually just feels like a slowdown.
Seems they 'saved the best parts of Torghast' to the end, these 'events'. But they should give us at least a peak so we wouldn't whine.
Would be a lot better to get 9.1 live next month instead of this bull*!@#.
The builds you can do with this is fun, had 4 Contorted Hourglass perks, 80%, along with Radius and movement speed increase, as well as a bunch of DoT perk and base damage increase... I was zipping about doing mad AoE damage. :D
I see that events less appealing than the micro-holidays XD I have no idea what is the plan or was the plan, of Blizzard investing in events on Torghast as people was enjoying the feature and running it like crazy. Torghast is just a boring duty to get your legendary, at least for most of the people (I have no numbers, but feel like it).
I don’t think the 50% bonus damage when you stack inside the chorus is working. Neither myself or my party members were noticing any increase in damage
Pugged the event - interesting but really more "blah" than anything else. the Two ranged peeps that took howling soulcore were in melee and got 1 shot repeatedly. IDK if that's because howling soulcore only works in melee or not; they used up 11 deaths just on flr 1 (LMAO). I assume because they didn't move out of stuff. We finished with 2 available deaths.Personally, I've no desire to repeat the event on any other toons.
I still can't understand why Blizzard is so desperately trying to destroy the greatest strenth of their game, and instead adopt low-cost, crap features which their tens of times smaller competitors use to simulate that which they haven't got.If you look at WoW, there is surely 60+ dungeons. Each with unique art, assets, backstory.Sure, cheapo asian MMOs use "towers" because that way you can use a limited pool of assets and "simulate" greater variety. But you do that when you DO NOT HAVE the assets that Blizzard does.Rather than trying to knock itself down to that base level, Blizzard should be using their scaling technology to better use the enormous variety of assets they already DO HAVE.Damn, we already have 3 expansions' worth of isntances designed for mythic+!There is NOTHING stopping Blizzard from just adapting them so that the current keys can be run in there... and from adjusting older favorites. It is mind-boggling they waste time and money on this cheapo crap when they could be just adapting old favorites.
Tried this as solo, got destroyed by the first two trash, left the instance and restart without it.
