This event going on year after year always warms my heart. Here's to another run!
ack! wish i had more of a notice. time to go roll a troll! last year was so fun. you dont often see the wow community hang out like this anymore.
Happy Pride with the Trolls run! Sadly I'm in the middle of moving or I would of been in game enjoying it with everyone else.
Happy Pride!
Happy Pride! And thanks to the organizers of the event! Always nice to see humans letting other humans know that they are loved and appreciated! β€οΈπ§‘ππππ
happy pride, fam! many thanks to dravvie for always hosting this incredible event. i always somehow manage to miss these, too. even with a notice ahead of time like this wowhead post serves. :// super sad to miss this year's event as it's probably my worst yet while trying to survive and overcome the cptsd/autism/ideation/other complications that have plagued me for eons. alas, i remain hopeful and spirited for the future, through the wonderful truth that is this community when it comes together to support those in da communities (like this event), and the incredible courage within each of us. in case you may also be struggling at this time, just a friendly reminder that you are not the physical or mental ailments that complicate your life. you are loved and supported. you're an exceptional bean and more than capable of tackling what you wish. the world may feel dark, full of terror, too much to bear. you are not alone. you got this!edit: also this is such a beautiful comment. didnt even realize those emojis worked!
Why did all 45 comments except 6 get deleted just now? I was in the middle of reading them and then page refreshed and all were gone except the ones in extreme support of it. This comment will get nuked too because I'm not screaming pride. You think silencing people will do anything positive? This is the stuff that makes people resentful
Kind of a short notice. I missed it =\
Sad I missed it too. Please provide more notice next year.
Nice to see this is still going.
we've still a long, long way to go but it's always great to see signs of society getting closer to being fully accepting of all the different harmless aspects of humanity. of course, the closer we do get, the more the bigots feel threatened and start coming out of the woodworkI can only vaguely begin to imagine how awful it must be to be punished just for being honest about who you are. to live in fear about whether or not you can trust somebody enough to let them know you. it's got to be an awful way to live, but a lot of people do have to live that way. little events like this though, help to remind people that they are not alone and they are not unsupported. change might not come as fast as it should, but it is coming. there is hope
Was a wonderful time getting to run with the troll rainbow. Happy Pride everyone <3
damn, I missed it again :/
Would love to also see this on a EU server next year, and a bit less short notice (: But I guess it's the thought that counts.
As long as younger players are WELL AWARE of the meaning of this event, it's okay.
