This looks like fun.
These look pretty fun. Always good to have more small-group content.
Looks fun.
These island invasions were presented well but I'm not sure how 'replayable' they will be in the mid-to-late cycle of the expansion. Especially if there are important rewards associated with them that means they are a required daily/weekly event that turns in to a chore.
It says expeditions are supposed to be fast, lasting 15-20 minutes. If you ask me I'd be fine if they lasted longer if they had content to keep me up longer. Currently, as we enter late stage of an expansion dungeons tend to take ~ 10 minutes while on the launch it took good 20 at least. I just hope those expeditions don't turn in 3 min zergs by the end of BFA.
Watching the MoP Scenarios return in the way of expeditions is great. And the tactical AI might make things more interesting, but AIs always got a limit. Lets see how far the Tacticals AI can go.
I actually kind of miss MoP scenarios. Good to see this stuff make retun
I really hope these won't feel boring after doing a couple of them and that the AI will really be like how they describe them. The PvP option will bring something new, since PvP was focused on deathmatches and objective maps with a lot of players.
Ready to roll a outlaw rogue just to do these. Still wishing we would get a ship and sail across Azeroth. The dreams of every outlaw rogue, or maybe just mine/
I am most stoked about the tactical AI... What other implementations could we expect?
This system reminds me a lot of mythic+ or Challenge Modes. I am hoping that these will be more like Challenge Modes because myself, and I think a lot of the playerbase liked Challenge Modes a lot more than the current mythic+. Let's also hope they're not faceroll. :)
From the offset this doesn't look too entertaining, but the more I read about it, the more excited I get
Havenwood looks nice
Awesome! I can just feel the MoP memories flooding back to me now! :D
Looks really really good
When I first heard of this new feature, I thought maybe Blizz was going to let us play the part of a pirate ship -- er, a naval squadron, I mean -- and engage in ship-vs-ship combat (which would have been cool). Essentially, we would have been role-playing out the Shipyard missions from Warlords. ;-) Based on what I read in this article, it sounds like we will actually be doing is playing the part of marines (i.e. amphibious assaults; landing at the beach and then engaging in normal combat), and not the part of a navy. Since this is going to be Scenario-based and -driven, I'd like to point out one of the major problems I've experienced with scenarios. Namely, many of the other players who I've encountered in scenarios have no patience; they're too busy emulating Zergs >_< to let me actually READ the quest text, to find out what is expected of us, and to let me just look around and enjoy the scenery for a moment or two. I really hope Blizz can find a way to fix this, so that ALL of us can enjoy this new feature, each at our own speed. Thanks, Franklin And not just regular Zergs, either. No, I'm talking about rabid, hopped-up-on-meth-and-caffeine Zergs, who are also incontinent and desperately searching for a bathroom in time! :-P~
