I like the traps personally, make the game a little more strategic than just bashing monster
I generally like Diablo 4 and I think season 2 was great but I've gotta admit that season 3 is really meh. It's been only a day and I'm already kinda done with it. They need to internally figure out what is going on with the team that made season 1 and season 3 (it's the same team from what I understand).
Zoomers don't like speed bumps.
Imagine if they had a PTR. There is a reason why D3 seasons were pretty fun at launch (for the week or so we played), because we had PTR, and people like Raxx would crunch the numbers and provide feedback documentations....FREE...They need to PTR the start / core components of the season.They can keep the story hidden/cut, put place holder boss images/etc, but the gameplay that is meant to hold the season togeather has to go through testing. Wudijo was doing some early number crunching on leveling your spider dudes relics...and its like 100's of hours just to get a relic leveled up. Not to mention the offensive side of the spider mid/late game is kinda useless.
I would like to see a few things that would be quality of life improvements. I would like for potions and incense to last even if you get disconnected from the game. And if you get disconnected, you should not automatically get kicked out of your party.I would love to see like how it was in D3 where you could save armor sets and I'd like to be able to save specs because sometimes you want to go back and forth and play with different builds, but it's kind of a pain having to do everything each time.
Vault dungeons and traps inside them seems to be worst and should be deleted from the game immediately.
The real problem with D4 are shown in the news tab of wowhead. 9 out of 20 posts are new cosmetic announcments. You adding completly boring and non existent season mechanic. WTF is that construct doing? So far, the old d3 seasons have delivered far greater replay value.
I don't understand the playerbase that just wants content they can plow through...and then complain after a week cause they already 'beat the game'.
Carry the "flame" through traps is not fun and a bit maddening. I, personally will avoid that seasonal game play if possible. Last season was actually fun it seems like Blizz regressed with this one. Good concept on paper, but without a public test server, not fleshed out.
After playing both eternal and S1 and S2 i had to quit S3 yesterday as i simply hate the trap and pet. Is not fun at all. LIke this guy says https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlSSxgQTFEQ&t=164s was i exactly what i felt playing...so gg. bye for now D4.
