Hmm... so does anybody know what actually caused the problem? I'm guessing a hacker =O

The server it was on was bugging out. All NPCs within Northrend were nonexistent. Obviously something was failing in terms of NPCs on the server. So, when people created the 2 NPCs on their Traveler's Mount, they would not despawn after the usual 3-5 sec. Combine this with several people continually mounting and dismounting, you'll flood an area with NPCs.That's what happened. Sheesh.
"Hackers" are Crackers who think they are cooler by distinguishing themselves from Script Kiddies. Both breeds break into systems illegally, however some people feel it is necessary to try and justify themselves by giving themselves a cooler name... There IS a difference between a Hacker and a Script Kiddie, however there is NO difference between a Hacker and a Cracker.A script kiddie is a person who uses a Hackers work to ensue chaos/mischief; ie FPS "hackers". They pay $20 a month to use a program that hacks the system... They are referred to as hackers, when in reality they aren't the real hacker (the company that sold them the program is the real hacker).
There's plenty of difference between a Hacker and a Cracker...
Yeah yestarday I was running around in Grizzly Hills getting the dalies and then I got DC. When I came back I was still on my flyer in Ashenvale but I was underground. I could get above ground though. I ended up dieing from fatigue and going to the Cross Roads spirit healer.
The WoW launcher just finished downloading the 3.0.9 to 3.1 patch in the background ... I think I would expect to see 3.1 turned on after the tuesday maint. sessions ... or very shortly thereafter.
