Someone want to talk about the apparently only 8 arms warrior parses and why the hell there were 4 fire mage parses?
Uhm, Affliction Warlocks? No.
Warrior near the topThis is the way
the reason rogues and feral druids are performing well on Vaelastrasz isn't because the encounter is short, but simply because infinite energy is a lot more valuable than infinite rage or mana.
nice work, #nochanges crowd! In our guild BWL static we have 8 rogues, 9 fury warriors, 2 Warr tanks, 1 Feral tank, 3 locks, 5 mages. No feral DPS, boomkins, retripalas and spriests. The loot competition is insane for melees, imagine the line for DFT, Maladath, and CTS. Also try to imagine that a few resets in a row no rogu or warrior loot drops at all (this happens quite often, btw).
Retail-mentality articles for classic. We cleared 8/8 BWL in week one with 2 boomkins, 2 feral druids, 2 rets, and only 3 fury warriors/2 rogues.BWL is mostly about threat management, boss positioning and tank rotations.
My point, which you seemed to have missed completely, is that you don't need to subscribe to this meta-nonsense. Which is, in large, fuelled by the retail mindset and articles like this, that only certain classes and specs are viable. Interesting that you edited your post 3 times and it's still a confused mess.
Warriors are the best tanks and the best DPS, if they could heal they’d probably be the best healers too.
RemovedHere fixed it for youtier 1. warrior/roguetier 2 mage/hunter/locktier 3 feral/shadow priestWHy would you put ferals and hunters on same tier cmon makes no sense.Hunters have more utility than mages id say with aura and tranq. Directly buffing the op meele classes something mage doesnt, in addition to the dps difference being very tiny between mage and hunter from this parse at least and yet you put them in B tier? xD
