Nice timingEdit: looks like the Complete Collection with the Shadowlands pre-order is on sale too.
I think at this moment I realized just how much I did not like this expansion. I saw this pop up on my news feed and initially thought oh yay a sale on Shadowlands. After clicking it and reading it, I in all seriousness laughed out loud thinking, "no person in their right mind would purchase this." It was at this moment I felt the shock in knowing that deep inside my very soul I did not like this expansion. This is not a typical reaction for me with any expansion, not even WOD. Every other expansion I could list out things I like about it even in the midst of the critiques and bad-mouthing. Trying to think of good things about the expansion actually feels draining. I know there were good moments. I loved the raiding bosses. But yeah, I tried to think of a second thing and just felt nausea. Please Shadowlands, please bring back the joy.
BFA was underdeveloped, it is pretty clear by now.
I was waiting for this
BFA was super fun on 8.2 and 8.3 and most people only hate it because of the circlejerk of earlier patches.
I would put out some bucks for digital only deluxe packs of the past, starting from the base game all the the way up MoP.
@Traitorbane - Hating on what they've done with N'Zoth and saying Ulduar is better is some real nostalgia-tinted sunglasses.Yogg had tiny mentions of "old gods" being around the continent a bit in quest lore and saronite, but otherwise it was just a big blob to kill at the end of a raid that was far cooler because of titans. I'm sure there's some other small details that I'm missing, but you're trying to say that was better at framing up an old god than everything they've done in 8.2 and 8.3? We had more story, more dialogue, actual impact on the world with corruptiony invasions, a player choice to get rid of your corruption or not, gear mechanics to play off of that corruption, a whole zone dedicated to his realm, a whole story with NPCs dedicated to figuring out how to kill him with planet lasers, etc.I think you should make a better attempt at splitting expansions as a whole away from specific topics like individual bosses. You can love wotlk over BFA for sure, I know I do, but don't kid yourself that they somehow cut short the impact of an old god.
Thats just bad those of us that purchased last Nov. are getting screwed. Why am I not supprised Sales Sales and more salles!
Not worth it, even as freebie it would be a scam.
Does anyone know if buying BfA still gives you an account-wide 110 token, even if Shadowlands' 120 token isn't account-wide?
Is this the 32nd time or the 45th time BFA has gone on sale? At this point it will have gone on sale more times than people own the game. Clearly it should never have been worth the full price to begin with.
