#$%^ing garbage
This is the worst possible change they could do. I can't think of a single reason to implement this AT ALL.
Blizzard really shouldn't be doubling down on this. My friends tried to get me to play FF, but I quit because the gcd. Do you really think wow won't be hurt by messing with someone that's essentially not broken?
How about even all abilities now on 2.5 GCDs like in FF? It is gonna be fun for sure. This is all I can say to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2k0SmqbBIpQ
Please tell me what a gcd is
Any dev involved in OKing this decision should be fired and banned from designing video games.
Please don't do this.
Didn't they say if enough players didn't like this change that they would nix it? Pretty sure there was a blue post saying that exact thing. So Blizzard, listen TF up! NOBODY likes this crap you're doing. All it's doing is making gameplay clunky for EVERY CLASS. Why? What is the benefit? Get this nonsense out of here
It seems really bad.
Oh yes! Yes Blizz! Take out those pesky macros! Only elitist BULLIES use those. Next to do is take out keybinding and being able to move with your mouse and then we might REALLY start moving forward!
Guys... Its simple. The new "Advanced AI" Can't learn to blow all cooldowns at once to nuke something. In response, they make it harder for us to do the same, so the new Ai doesnt get swallowed whole because lets face it, nothing they make will ever be as good as a player, unless they make it impossible to beat. In short : Blizz is handicapping us to show that their new toys can be super cool :D
haha.HAHAHAHAHAahahahAHAhahHAHAhahhahAHAHAGood prank blizzard, but April fools were 2 weeks ago, you were kinda late.
I really don't understand why Blizzard are going harder on this when they've seemingly gotten nothing but negative feedback so far. I don't know if this is for balancing or what but if it is they need to find another way, because having just dead stop pauses between EVERYTHING just makes the game feel clunky and pleasant to play.
This is so bad.
Good changes, from a pvp perspective.
Let’s slooooooow the game down guys.
As if Time Gating the majority of content wasn't bad enough, now they're finding more ways to apply it to every aspect of game play. The next change will bring vendors who can only handle one purchase at a time by a single player. "Form an orderly line, folks, no more haphazard crowding around the mammoths and yaks for repairs!" Flight points can be made even more remote and speeds slowed down so gradually few people will notice until its too late. Or maybe an automatic ten minute dungeon finder penalty on using heirlooms! You know, just in case they haven't completely obliterated leveling alts by this point.Anything and everything that can be done to slow down players is apparently on the table. Unfortunately that's not even the saddest part; the really painful aspect is Blizzard's track record for listening to its testers then doing the complete opposite and inflicting even more damage. The company picks these people to test their product for the purposes of maximizing profits by producing an enjoyable product then ignores the given feedback or uses it to justify something utterly backwards.Blizzard is sounding more and more like EA and we all know how that turned out.
Okay this and the other Gcd changes are the most unfun and stupid thing they could ever do. But what does our opinion matter to them. They should just make the cd longer or reduce the dmg on spell or effects instead. Warrior charging = gcd, warrior battlycry = gcd, Avatar = gcd. I have not heard anyone like this yet they keep going forward with this
