Because they didn't kill leaders, the plan was to achieve both things, destruction of Darnassus and death of Malfurion, Tyrande and probably Genn.
Nooooo Mia! I hope she is ok, poor Genn he suffert so much. He's such a good boi to Anduin.
"Our attack was meant to end a war before it began... to destroy an enemy's home and their leaders in one stroke."Oh, good thinking. I always thought that destroying cities and killing faction leaders actually starts a war. But apparently, it somehow ends the war...? A war that already ended at the end of MoP?...So much for Sylvanas being "pragmatic".Now she sounds like she is losing it. Going crazy. Nuts. Insane. Bonzo. No longer in possession of her faculties. Three fries short of a Happy Meal. WACKO!
when will we finally kill sylvanas?
*Grits teeth*I know you think your blow was dishonorable Saurfang...But...THAT'S MOTHERF*CKING MALFURION!JUST KILL HIM!HIS DEATH BENEFITS THE HORDE IN EVERY POSSIBLE ASPECT!As for the morality... Or well just the attack in general this is only due to who the Warchief is and who her people are. I see so many people condemning the Horde for not negotiating peace with the Alliance, but here's the problem with that:You're sending Sylvanas Windrunner, Banshee Queen of the Forsaken, to negotiate with the Alliance, where there's first Jaina and Greymane who would want to see the Horde dead, and would even ignore orders from the King to do so (Evidence: Stormheim). And then there's the fact that, aside from the Orcs, I'm certain the Forsaken are the most hated race by the Alliance simply because to their eyes, they're just like the Scourge. So if you tell the Alliance to negotiate with a Banshee Queen and her Forsaken, would they say yes to negotiating with her in the first place? With someone they qualify as the Scourge? No they wouldn't have.Though what is true is this:A failed negotiation attempt between Anduin and Sylvanas because of the Alliance despising her and her people (probably with an assassination attempt by some Gilnean) would have been a WAAAAAAY better faction war ignition event than... This. Simply because the Alliance had many more reasons to deal the first blow to the Horde, than the Horde had to attack the Alliance first. The Alliance had old hatreds, the Broken Shore, Stormheim, Greymane's beef with Sylvanas, Jaina's beef with all of the Horde, and possibly a few other reasons I'm missing. While which reasons did the Horde have? Old hatreds and maybe Stormheim too. That's it.EDIT:That, and a negotiation attempt with the Alliance would have been more likely if Vol'Jin were still the Warchief *COUGH COUGH*
Saurfang is officially cancelled. Dude you got a direct order after you helped defeating a foe who is naturally to OP to take down alone. There is nothing dishonorable about helping about a cookie that is too big. Sorry but please don't ever return to the horde.
BAH! Teldrassil was destined to live forever.
