I'm fine with Resists being subpar. The game already has affix bloat to begin with.
They shouldnt do anything for a while it seems okay for now. +dmg reduction is good and only makes resists stronger.
Good. Managing resist is the absolutely least fun thing about POE. Nobody wants to avoid using uniques and ledgendaries that could potentially make their build fun (or even playable in the case of POE) so I'm glad resists are an afterthought
Explains why resist elixirs feel like they don't do anything at all.
They need a rework and should probably be changed from a defensive stat to more of a utility one imo. For example, what if fire res instead gave you movement speed whenever you took fire damage based on how much of the stat you had, or poison res could give you a stacking damage buff the longer you stayed poisoned.
You just figured that out? Another shortcut the Devs took... Resistances are negligible at very best, useless the majority of the time.
This game has way too many useless stats and affixes on items. This needs to be fixed ASAP.
It'd be nice if resistances worked like they do in WoW, where you also have the chance to "fully resist" damage/debuff/effect entirely, in addition to partially resisting the damage.

game is super easy just running around 1 shotting everything.Now they find out they didn't even proper program resistances? so if they do then it will just be even easier?What a disaster of a game.
