I really feel like the angels are just an artistic liberty depiction of Kyrian, since Kyrian seem to have their hands in a lot of places including Azeroth. Could also be Valkyr.
The angel mural is actually a 100% updated version of the one at the base of Wyrmrest Temple. The only difference is the angels go in the reverse order, but they all have the same exact pose except the one with the shield is holding it in the other hand. That image actually shows up twice in wyrmrest temple. The Angel art also appears in Dragon Soul.Worth noting the Blue Dragon Shrine under wyrmrest is actually represented by purple under wyrmrest.
Sometimes, a picture on the wall is just a picture on the wall. It has nothing to say and it could represent anything you want.
"Several of Sinestra's Twilight dragon offspring also had purple scales, but all the ones we known about are deceased"Not true. Goriona, Warmaster Blackhorns drake flees during his boss encounter. She could still be around somewhere.
We had similar angels murals in Ulduar, that's just part of titanic iconography.https://i.imgur.com/RyoreA3.jpg
Void Dragons confirmed!N'zoth incarnates his mind into Nozdormu in this timeline.Calling it now.Remind me in 2 years.
- The blue one is clearly Kalecgos: the ears are batlike instead of fins. The horns also match his instead of the more "mane-like" Malygos has.- Purple one looks more like a drake than a full grown dragon. So it's probably one of the twilight dragons that Wrathion rescued. It's probably a prophecy of the new Aspects.
In art, shades of purple are often used for shadows and to add darkness to images instead of using blacks/grays. I think what you're seeing as purple is simply the black dragonflight depicted artistically as purple instead of straight up black. I love a good speculation, but in this case I think you're looking for something that just isn't there.
We had angels with dragons before, wyrmrest accord's temple has similar themes, same goes for Ulduar. It's a titanic thing.
I think someone's reading into this too much... Looks like it's just a regular painting without any significance, but meant to look cool.
Did Ysera always have blue eyes? Because then it could be despicting her as she is now - in Ardenweald.Between that and if the blue dragon is Kalecgos then it could be some sort of prophecy.
Somehow not a single mention of the violet proto-drake in the article, the holiday meta-achievement mount. It even has text about "How different would things be if there was one more dragonflight?" That could have fueled some interesting speculation, but it isn't in the text here.
