I'm still trying to understand why blizz nerfed Frost DK so hard before pre-patch. It was too competitive to their precious pala ? Or the problem was that we had alternative from BoS build ? What is wrong with balance in this game.. I really like Frost playstyle but i cannot enjoy many aspects of this game cuz im "meme spec" .. They hyped up return of the 2h frost obliterate just to nerf it before it went live.. simply why ?
Hearing what guide writers think about the current state of balance in context to different content is nice but these posts seem to feed lots of negativity in the community in general. Whenever WoWhead posts one of these you will notice a spike in "buff this" "nurf that" posts on the Blizzard forums. The lower level pug player miss use this data and see a pug join there level 10 keystone playing BM instead of MM and they kick them after verbally berating them. I am all for having information readily available to the community members who understand and can take advantage of this information to better themselves but I think for the most part this information is going to be miss used by those who don't understand the statistics let alone how to properly use WoW logs.
This community..... A spec has to be in last. There will always be one and if its the spec that you favor this time around that's just the way it goesAlso seeing this list does not mean that any spec is OP and need nerfed. It's just how the current fights are lining up to the strengths of the individual classes.
Hello, BM buffs?

95th percentile logs are pretty useless given it's mostly parses that are cheesed or 'how many PI's you get'.
very disingenuous to post 95th percentile logs.
First they nerf frost mage to bits and then give 9%.That does not rly help Blizz, make it 15% at least.
Non-Outlaw rogues need a huge buff... We bring only DPS to the raid and its disappointing that several other classes bring more raid utility and still can do more DPS than Sub or Sin.
If Blizz nerfed Afflocks, they might be able to study how to simplify the only spec in the game with 7 required buttons to hit each pull--before cooldowns. I would gladly trade for less complexity if it meant affliction weren't a number 1 or 2 spec in simulations or world top 500 players anymore.
I don't think Blizzard is going to make any further changes until 9.1, even very unlikely, they added a band-aid to close the gape and that will be all till next tier.It has always been like this and it will always be this way, we sadly have to deal with it and that's it.I do not believe by the very different nature of each spec for the game to be perfectly balanced, it would time consuming and a lot of energy for limited ressources even for a big company like Blizzard (yeah the meme is easy there but nonetheless). That said, the gape between the top performing specs and the bottoms ones is massive, they closed it a bit, but still remain huge and that's ain't acceptable either. A 5% to 8-10% is a good balance, but right now, even after the recent buff, it's still way more than that. Some would argue that some top performing class waited for that for a while and that's their turn to shine, but is it really good for the game to take turns like this ? Not every people have time to reroll a fotm spec from scratch, not everyone wish to. I played the same class for years, because I enjoy it, because I like it and because I invested massive amount of time and love in it, I'm not interested in starting a new one because I sadly end up on the shortest rope this time and feel like a burden even though I do my best, it's not a great feeling for what is supposed to be a game, to be enjoyable. Particulary when you wanna progress in MM.What makes me really afraid is that we didn't completely unlocked the game system and those could very easily wider the gape between the best and worse spec and bring us back a few steps, so I don't know.I really wish Blizzard would understand how important balance is for a big part of the community and how unhealthy for the community this situation is.
I wish survival could get a buff or 10, love playing the spec.
Feral slipped down another spot, but I'm not that surprised in honesty. Look at how few feral druids are in the sample size. Boomkin is the overwhelming majority when it comes to dps for Druids, partially to blame because of Convoke. It's simply too overpowered in both PvE and PvP right now, though I'm very interested to see if the 'nerf' today to it did anything at all in the pvp aspect.
