Those prices need reducing, oof. Poor new players.
Sounds really nice.
so basically the same as if i was leveling an alt now from scratch. half way through the first set of zonesperfect
whoa
It feels weird :-D ... although, it makes me now curious, how will be the Gold loot/rewards scaled?
Nothing new, since you're 25 at the end of Vanilla content in Shadowlands anyway.
So, will the Pathfinder requirements be waived for WoD?
New players aren't really supposed to get flying right of the bat. Even getting 60% mount speed from the beginning is a huge boon, also some expansions really need at least a little bit of mount speed. And first time going through an expansion you always had to do on foot, so new players actually get the full experience as it was. For alts the prices are non-issues anyway.
So, essentially the same level as you already learn flying. According to this post the equivalent of a level 60 today would be level 25 in Shadowlands.
Still the same, you get it after 1 expansion of content.
So it matches the content, okay.
So. What about those god stupid cursed Pathfinders? Still a thing or will we finally get rid of them in legacy content?
Let's hope that Shadowlands flying is tied to exploring all locations, doing all the storyline quests of the initial zones and doing every dungeon at least once. If they made it so we explore, then it should be unlocked by exploring the initial content... not as a way to keep milking our sub by making us tediously grind reputation and waiting for a patch that is added months later, with even more factions to grind.I'm okay with Step 2 unlocking a mount if you wanna do the achievement and getting to Exalted with the new factions, but flying should be a Step 1 thing.
Yeah baby ! googd stuff (if a bit late...)
I wonder if new players will be given a basic mount at level 1 to use? Or maybe there will be a mount you can earn in Exile's Reach.
