I'm interested to see how the paladin quide (and other hybrid classes) are handled.since they generally only have 1 "viable" spec.
The 100 to 0 stunlock begins!
Whilst i appreciate the effort of having made this guide - your guide is littered with inconsistencies and makes no real effort to implicate being backed up by Logs or Data.I ran the numbers in small built simulations - just for the laughs of it - But what i found the mostflustering about your guide - is your overall "This talent is AMAZING!" - when in fact, numerically,it's pretty on par with other talents.Calling improved Evis "Useless" in PvE - when it outdoes Weapon Skills realistically speaking, hollering about that "0.02% hit is one of the most powerful things in Classic!" (Just, what?)Whilst improved poison damage, assuming highest ranks of Instant Poison - only renders abouta 5 DPS increase - that increase is arguably more than you would realistically gain from WeaponSkill increases - accounting for Glancing Blow damage reductions - outside of more than 50%of your damage being AA - and your DPS from AA is 250+ - Improved Poisons will outdo theWeapon Skill increase, then - in relation to Glancing Blow Reductions.I will admit that Instant Poison chanse to proc, was a bit surprising - at an increase of around11 DPS - assuming that you perform on average 1 attack per second - which is a fair understatementin terms of not accounting for WF, Sword Spec, Hand of Justice, Thrash Blade proc, etc. However - what i found most disheartening about your guide - is, again - the unfounded hyperboliclanguage in relation to what gear you superimpose that one is to use.Dal'Rend's is not BiS pre-raid - That can be outdone by Teebu's, if you utilize Hemorrhageto circumvent the Weapon Speed normalization. (SS was normalized, Hemo was not)And you fail to mention the overall DPS raid increase from Hemorrhage - I don't see breakpoints of WS gain being important (such as how it becomes less weightafter the difference is 10 >= in your WS contra Enemy Def - where only the 5first WS prevents ignoring of 1% to hit)Also - please, please - do not spread the misinformation of "Feint being useless".With bosses being about, that reduce total threat by about 50% - having Feint increasein threat reduction capacity - is the #1 reason, why a Rogue could dish out more damagethan any other class - if they were playing correctly. It has singularly to do with Prep Vanish builds and being able to wipe your total aggrotwice. Also - Private Server bosses are not representative or tuned correctly to account foractual Raid Parsings or Data Logs. Not only are the numbers off - many mechanics areoff - drop rates are off, conflicting interests of questionable parties historically tamperedwith matters to further cause issues.Private Servers never were - and never will be - a basis of discussion in regards to Classic.Having stated all of this - I found your guide to be "acceptable", if i was a complete beginnerand i had no idea of what a Rogue is.But having played this game for 14 years, modelling the things up (which really only aggrevatedme more, because i spent time on debunking basic statements like "X is TOTAL GARBAGE!11")-I found your guide sincerely lacking.Best of regards.
No competent Raid Leader will allow a Hemo Rogue in their Raid. Hemorrhage applies a debuff to the boss...
Hey!Is it possible that you link these in-depth guides in the overview of the respective class (e.g. for a rogue this one: https://classic.cuckhead.com/guides/classic-wow-rogue-class-overview). Because the DPS PvE links to a different, yet also very good, guide (https://classic.cuckhead.com/guides/classic-rogue-pve-dps). Is this possible for all classes? Thanks in advance!
