Doing a 15 in time is fairly equal to doing the first boss in the current mythic raid. The people who cry over the mythic quality weekly item requiring a 15 are so out of touch. Gearing is a part of the journey in an MMORPG and if you get that handed to you with no effort then there's little to no incentive for getting better. Just because you buy the game, it doesn't mean you are entitled to be spoon fed the gear - you are entitled to make an effort in order to obtain it. Just because the content is hard for you, it doesn't mean you have to get the best gear for it... That mentality makes no sense and its the inevitable reason why the necessity for third party sites such as Raider.io have emerged. Currently there is no way to even know a player's skill without checking achievement dates, warcraftlogs and raider.io-score, because of titanforging and mythic 10 chest giving 440 baseline loot despite not even timing the key - This means that objectively terrible players with no knowledge of class or their enviroment runs around with 440-450 ilvl without deserving it, and yet the same people that complains about these new changes also hates third party sites that are the only way to differentiate bad and skilled players. There is actual motivation for pushing more difficult levels of content now! The hardest content is the only way to get the best gear which is fair. If you want those rewards, then try to improve like all those that have that level of gear did. And please don't bring up time investment - theres catch-up mechanics in place now to get to the max AP-level in no time (its super boring, i know... but still), and getting essences isn't hard (but boring, yes). Literally just do 3 weekly islands and maybe an emissary that gives AP and you're there.
Season 2 was the best point for m+ during this expansion, it was all downhill from there.Seasonal affixes are trash, the Legion design was a hell lot better. If something isn't broken don't fix it
@gfz1306That’s true but lets not forget the plethora, I mean PLETHORA of players that just park themselves at sub-425ish. Playing the game in solo world quest mode as the emissary rewards and warfront push them to the finish line. World quests should not give normal mode raid rewards, it should be below lfr as it was in legion (WQ regular gladiator gear was -5 ilvl below lfr). Blizzard has killed any incentive to do things with others except for the weekly +10 quickie (if they even do that). Broken reward structure and with m+ giving so much loot it makes professions, raid and pvp look even more garbage than they already are. Like a lopsided table. These past few weeks trying to do CTA quests to get the rank 3 item so I can then purchase my already earned rank4 essence, have been eye-opening. So many sub 175-200k (come on put on some benthic its free, but please go get some real gear) players that just have no grasp at how to play the game. I want them to have fun first but really please get better. It will make your life better and easier for those us that play with you.
More nuisances for tanks, joy!
Before you guys go ham about the tankbuster keep in mind that the DK was one-shotted in a 15 which is the equivalent to a 20 and they said without using any CD which one can assume, without Boneshield Charges, no DS shield, no Trinkets etc. Once tanks get those 475 items the amount of Armor and stamina they get will overcome any of these Tankbusters. Tanking trinkets this new tier will also help with the amount of absorbs and damage reduction. No need to panic right now. Sure, Brewmasters lol at Physical damage like they always did but Warriors have the mobility to move out of that ability and the extra Armor to make up for the first hit and for the extra damage they take for 8seconds. Would be nice if other tanks would get a time to shine like Prot Paladins and alike but they need a rework to be on par with Brewmasters and Warriors.
Two important questions:1) Does 'final boss encounter' mean the intended final boss (harlan) or simply the last boss you kill (sharkman)?2) Does the alternate reality with the lieutenants have gates down / opened? Half the reason rogues are a requirement for TD, for example, is their ability to unlock the gates. Having the gates barred means you still need a rogue (or one of the prof who can use keys). The fact that bliss made the keys profession-bound and not 'crafters can make them for anyone to use' is an irritant for TD keys, and not being able to skip gates in the alternate reality makes TD still a nuisance key.
the only guys who are gonna be profiting off of this corrupted nonsense are the booster since now thee mythic plus key will be 50% harder, and in order to get the best gear you need to do a 15+ which is the equivalent to a 19-20+ current keys, well done
What am I going to do without my Bwomsamdi buff? I used this at the beginning of this expansion, but felt it was easily abusable and it seems Blizzard agrees.
Blizzard don't you dare to take this &*!@ty seasonal design of mythic + to the next expansion, go back to the Legion model and let BfA sank as the worst expansion in peace. You already did it, I hate it, congratulations! Now please don't carry this trash to the next expansion.
Interesting note on the fish... I did an inner-mechagon with a friend (the two of us, on a +3... we were curious about skipping some trash and wanted to test percentages) - and we depleted it just before reaching King Mechagon. We wiped on the boss, and lo and behold - the fish was there waiting for us at the gardener. This was only 2 or 3 days ago (EU), interesting to see it go away again, don't really see any reason why. Not like there's anything to gain when the key is already depleted, might as well give an extra option to finish the key through these kinds of buffs.
