To be fair..at blizzcon with the allied races they showed "Void elf, dark iron dwarf, lightforged draenei"...alliance already have all of those, for months...for the horde "Elf on drugs, antler tauren, ZANDA^&*!INGLARE"..and only near the release of BfA they said "oh yeah, zandalari will not be at launch", or near it....they shoud have showed mag'har orc then, not zandalari (they didn't showed kul'tiran, it wasn't even on the site)
Ah well. I'm missing a few of the achievements since I only thought getting to exalted of the faction and finishing up the zone (zones in bfa case) was all that was needed to unlock them. You know like most of the other allied races. I'll just have to do them when I have the free time and when the last part of the war campaign unlocks on the 22nd (if it's still being unlocked on that day).
Given the Pt4 requirement is a raid boss, that means people who roleplay/casually level are gonna be stuck waiting until the relevant wing is released, which is about.. what, 4-6 weeks after the 22nd?And people $%^&*ed about having to farm reputation for them in 7.3.5 - this isn't gonna end well.E: That's a granted on if Jaina isn't like.. tied-in LFR requirement-wise to the launch of 8.1.5. Considering it all just went to the PTR, maybe that's what they're thinking to do?E: So many edits. Yeah if they're gonna do a tie-in release of the patch (and for people curious on when Jaina will be available on LFR), the final wing of DZ is on the 26th of February, which is five weeks post-22nd launch.
Nightborne, the only other good Allied Race added so far, was also locked behind a raid....from the start. And was also a Horde race.Ironically, the raid also took place in the center of their city....it seems to be a recurring theme. Also, it is very obvious that the VAST majority of posters care about Zandalari and almost nobody cares about Kul Tiran....which does not surprise me in the least. I thought giving the Alliance Asspull-Elves when the Horde received Nightborne without any lore justification was bad.....but this might be even worse.
So does the achievement "Tides of Vengeance" require a raid completion or not? I've heard both ways but am looking for a confirmation.
