Pretty cool, this will save a lot of gold over time
are the dungeon items a drop from anymode or only mythic?
Dunno, I'm baffled why it can't just do a full repair once a day or something. This one piece thing is ... silly.
Very underwhelming compared to other profession perks coming.
Just imagine when you play dead knight in pve and you are loyale to blacksmithing nothing interesting coming for you in new patch. Blood traits are sux as Hell compare to other tanks, they touch US only if they want nerf. As UHDK you are like Pure nothing in pve.
Indestructible on gear is hardly worth the trouble. Now if the hammer could put some of the other upgrade bonuses on gear like speed, this might be worth it.
Not nearly as interesting as some of the other new 'Tools' however being able to add Indestructible to any crafted weapon or armor might be slightly useful but only if the trait can be applied to equipment across expansions if crafting professions are ever restored to their former glory. If Blizzard only allows it to be randomly applied to BfA gear, it will essentially be useless given the sheer RNG aspect of crafting proper stat weights for your class and spec combined with what will likely be a very low chance to proc the effect. Also given that blacksmiths can only craft and equip two high level items combined with the fact that their weaponry is sub-par at best, being easily dwarfed by World Quest drops along with every other resource of procuring armaments, this 'Tool' is nothing more than a flavor item without the benefit of interesting lore aspects as seen other profession quest lines, especially the Tailoring quests. As for the free repair to a single item on an hourly cooldown, that perk is so incredibly underwhelming I suspect most people will completely forget about the ability if they even bother to craft the hammer in the first place.
The "Indestructible" bonus might spill over to future expansions, so I see it as an investment for future content. Also, I'm a blacksmith and get a Khaz'gorian hammer. What's not to like about that from a lore point of view? The thing I wonder the most however - is indestructible gear scrappable? And if yes - why?
My BS is max level and aside from leveling, I don't see any reason to craft weapons once you can do emissary, HC/Mythic dungeons and LFR, speaking of effort -> mats cost.Unless I've completely missed some recipes somewhere.
This stuff is cool and the quest is fun. But do you know what is the biggest problem of this? It comes only in the middle of expansion, and knowing blizz's strategy it for sure will be useless in the next expansion, and most likely the quest will be even removed
So, Indestructable CHANCE for items that dont even matter?Honestly, professions are just useless this expansion with exception of Alchemy, this realy doesnt make crafted items any better, and the ammount of materials you have to gather to craft this bloody thing is insane and unlikely to be worth the investment, it just doesnt realy increase the gold-yield of professions. (like the VASTLY SUPERIOR Enchanting one does)
Still nothing about thrall? This is the waste od our time.
Does it replace a blacksmithing hammer?
Anyone knows if this hammer can be used as the Brumdysla, Hammer of Vrorsk?
I'm sorry, but while this is better than nothing... it doesn't do anything to make professions "exciting" or something you really want to get...
useless
Of course they do this after they practically force people to give up professions due to how garbage they are.Oh well, I'm happy with Mining and Herbing on all my characters.
