I don't really get why is selling tender bothering so many people. If someone buys tender they can only get cosmetics for them, so they are basically selling cosmetics, what they already did before tenders were even a thing. And if someone buys it they don't get any ingame advantage for it, so why is it bothering anyone?I mean I wouldn't buy it, becouse what i get from the monthly reward is enough for what I want (until now anyway), but I don't mind if someone want to get more, to buy more things from the monthly rotation of the cosmetic stuff.
THIS is the way to 'sell' tender on the shop. Add it as a bonus for large, one time purchases that everyone who plays the game with any significant interest will end up purchasing anyways. Does this pretty much limit it just to expansions? Sure, but it's a controlled method that doesn't draw ire like the $5 flower transmog did.
I bet they'll increase the price of the next expansion by $10 and justify it by saying Tenders are included.
Tenders with every xpac release was kind of an obvious thing to happen which seems reasonable in my eyes. Now my patience for having to wait for said xpac showcase is getting out of hand though, the excitement is never ending.
Which version I'll take will still depend on the price and the contents. If there would only be tender and no exclusive mount, pet etc. I might even go for the basic version.
That i can live with. Not like you need to by it anyway^^
Meh, I always go for the best version of the expansion anyway, this'll just be a bonus.
Meh, tender is whatever. I wouldn't really care even if they made tenders something you could infinitely buy on the store, it's all mediocre cosmetics anyway (except for monthly stuff you get by completing log but everyone gets those). I just hope tender isn't the only thing they are giving with these more expensive versions, I still want to see separate mount and cosmetics themed after the next expansion.
remember when they said "were never going to sell trader tender" and now seeing all these people saying meh seems ok or seems like a reasonable amount....its cause you these people who have no backbones is why companies are getting away w/ crap like this. cant wait for the people who tell me im wrong
Greedy firm. As to be expected from Activision.
