so nothing changed apart from adding flames too pandaria.i kinda expected that already, its still a downer though.
Too bad they aren't updating the epics to higher ilvls. Considering MOP is an expansion that spans 200 ilvls, and that 480 isn't much anymore, they should be updated.
The Frigid Frostling and Spirit of Summer weren't battle pets last Midsummer--players that were formerly uninterested in collecting vanity pets may now be interested in picking them up for battle pet purposes, so we're highlighting their abilities. (Yes, you can get them on the AH, but some players are cheap, or hey, maybe you forgot about these pets and a spotlight on them doesn't hurt.)I did reword it to make it clearer that the vanity pets didn't turn into battle pets on June 21st.
Since they are of common quality, I do not think they can be mogable, unless I am mistaken. Sorry
When I honor a flame I'm not receiving the Reverence for the Flame buff.
really another year with nothing new blizzard? is any wonder why they're gouging players?
They are not since they are white items and white items can't be transmogged.
I figured it out, this article is wrong regarding the xp buff. You do not honor the flame to get the buff, you dance on the fire pole.
Hmm, the fire pole doesn't appear to be with the Midsummer camps in Pandaria, at least as of this writing anyway.Edit: Ah ok, the experience buff is just for honouring the bonfire at each camp, not from a dancing pole.
When I honored the flame I did not get the xp buff. I got the xp buff from the ribbon pole.
@Nulgar: I stand corrected, thanks!
Man...after playing for about 6 years some of these holidays are in need of a serious overhaul. Or at least add a new one from time to time. It doesn't have to coincide with real holidays or seasons. Like a yearly event memorializing when Deathwing broke out and the world changed or any other dozens of important historical events in WoW lore.
Ah every Fire Mages favorite event... BURN!
