Well this made healers jobs much harder, although I need to point out. If something is going to one shot you - this would not have saved you anyways. You were 100% to 0% not on 1hp where it would kick in.
RiP those poor specs (Hunters/Shammies mostly?) that not only had survivability issues, and haven't been addressed so far, but also Versatility was outright dead weight stat for them.They used this Cloak mostly to survive and now not only the shield is hugely nerfed but ALSO they get Versatility stat, it's like rubbing salt on the wounds....Sometimes I wonder what IQ (if any) these decision makers at Blizz have when they decide to make changes like these, or maybe they have evil sinister mentality to enjoy seeing players QQ on the forums and suffer.
As a healer there's literally no good embellishments other than the spore cloak + potion extender or lariat. Spore cloak was a passive hps increase and the absorb shield was the difference between life and death a lot of the time. The cloak doesn't prevent one shots because one shots just hit you from 100% to 0%. You have to be hit to 30% hp or less to trigger the cape.
so this is going to be complete trash for pvpers as well in 10.2?
