Primordial Stones and Zskera Vault Guides for Patch 10.0.7 - How to Craft and Upgrade Primordial Stones

Patch 10.0.7 is going live soon on NA servers, and with it, our guides on the new gearing system in Patch 10.0.7 - Primordial Stones and the
Onyx Annulet
will be available for players to obtain, and our guides on the system are now live! Our guide on the Zskera Vaults, the main way to obtain Primordial Stones, is also live. You can check both guides below!
Zskera Vaults - Unlocking and ExploringPrimordial Stone Gems and Onyx Annulet in Patch 10.0.7
Below we have some excerpts from each guide for an idea on what you'll get from them:
Unlocking the Zskera Vaults
The Zskera Vaults are unlocked after completing the introduction questline in the Forbidden Reach. Once you complete the introduction questline that unlocks World and Daily Quests in the Forbidden Reach, complete the following quests to gain access to the Zskera Vaults:
Helping Hand and Claw
After completing that quest, return to Morqut Village and pick up
Exploring Our Past
Zskera Vault: Az
- Unlock your first Zskera Vault and start exploring!
Are Zskera Vaults Account-Wide?
Zskera Vaults
are NOT account-wide
, which means each character you're interested in will need to go through the questline to unlock the Vaults, as well as each character having their own set of vaults.
However,
Zskera Vault Key
, the items used to unlock doors inside Zskera Vaults,
ARE account-wide
, which means you can use multiple alts to funnel keys to one character, or send spare keys to other alts you might want to explore the vaults with.
Manipulating Primordial Stones
You can do many things with Primordial Stones including breaking down Primordial Stones you don't want, crafting the Primordial Stones you want and upgrading your favorite Primordial Stones to be more powerful. You will unlock the ability to manipulate Primordial Stones after obtaining your Onyx Annulet, on a questline starting with the quest
Primordial Embellishment
, obtainable right after obtaining the ring itself.
Once you complete this small questline, you will have the option to manipulate your stones by the small blacksmithing area in Morqut Village. In that area, you will gain access to Extra Action Buttons that allow you to manipulate your ring.

Imagine all the effort going into creating this entire system and the majority of the player-base resoundingly responding with "Nah, no thanks".
Sure don't seem that way on the isle.
