Mage table that summons mawrats + exploding mawrats = stupid amounts of damage. Especially in a group.
Pause the expansion, I must level a monk now
Torghast is such a faceroll as Ret, I love it. All I heard in general was Synod being a pain in the ass, yet I went through him as if he was paper. I WANT MORE FLOORS THOUGH. Can't ^&*!ing wait for reset. This has to be the best content since Mage Tower, honestly. It's just so fun (as a class that can do it I should say)
There's a high phantasma collection achieve also.
don't have a video but combining the following powers on a kyrian sub rogue make for nice 1-shots and big crits:finishers with animacharged combopoints from echoing reprimand deal damage as if 20 combo points were usedshadowstep increases the damage of the next finisher by 400%several stacks of eviscerate damage increased by 25%i personally had a 110k non-crit eviscerate with 155 ilvl
I wish hunters had more than one good anima power.
Reading this as a Hunter main makes me sad cause it's seems like 90% of the anima choices I get are for making my Tar Trap bigger or last longer. Sure seems like Blizz thinks Tar trap is the most important ability in the Hunter arsenal.
Oh yeah I did a 1 million Arcane blast on an elite 60 and I think you can do way more. Especially considering it is stackable. Basically, when mages get this anima power (Runecloth wrappings) it's free bosses for the run cause they start half hp.
I think its important to note that Mage power is actually any good only for arcane, since their affected spell is literally their most powerful cast, so stacking damage on that is meaningful. Shooting a fireball from invis in a 3-5 group tickles for insignificant damage. On the other hand, for Fire - Highly Polished Handmirror does some dirty things, especially if you get clones on blink.
First time i did torghast as a mage i got that buff two times and had a massive 4000% dmg increase. Layer 3 was a piece of cake, took 2 shots to take down the boss on Arcane, even did some boosts for some people who weren't able to do it solo.
Assassins follow you while you're zoning. I feared one and just went to floor 3 and wound up dead on zone in.
On my destro lock, using the infernal brand conduit power (extra stacking damage from infernal attacks) plus some of the anima powers (like the one that has an extra infernal spawn every time one is summoned), I’m getting upwards of 13-15k dps with my small army of green fel bois. Honestly, small victories like this are making Torghast much more exciting.
VW into raid boss is the best. especially when u also get +dmg and +hp other anima for it. you legit ca't lose with it due to the dmg making his threat impossible to pull from and his huge health meaning even the boss can't kill him.
Meanwhile hunters have zero useful Anima Powers... It's super slow and boring to do Torghast as Hunter. Everything dies stupidly slow...
As an Outlaw Rogue, Torghast is nearly impossible to run now.
