Disabling them at level 50 doesn't make sense. Should be level 51 if at all. Now characters at level 50 (like anyone who doesn't buy Shadowlands) is completely locked out of using these things. What're they thinking?
This is good for Leatherworkers, means there's actually a need for them and they can't mass produce previous expansions' materials. I don't get the level 49 and lower though, will this affect prepatch level 50s?
Ok , fair and dandy and nothing new but isnt it weird how you are capping BFA drums to not be used for BFA content? Atleast tie them to BFA content or make them unable to be used in Shadowlands zones. I think they dont even need to think about it because they have the template for it. They used it with WoD zones and MoP scenarios.
thanks for nothing
Blizz can you stop with this bull#$%^ pls! Pots and now this?
Well F all that leather i've collected for these...i cant ever make some gold from AH
This is dumb. So drums are irrelevant because of the economy? Why not disable bags while you at it. Any bags from older xpacs should stop working so those 30 slot bags from WoD should stop too right? Stupid stupid change.
The best solution to this problem would be making the older expansion drums slightly weaker. That way they are still useable but the newest expansion drums are the best to use.
finally, hope they did/will do the same with a tome for talents
The materials used to make old drums (and all other previous expansion consumables) are now available much earlier than they used to thanks to Chromie Time. You only need to get to level 10. I imagine it's a good part of the reason why they want to lock them as they become much easier farm and are most likely to render the new items obsolete.
justw ait until 2 weeks into launch when epople are hitting max level and that siney augemtn rune is nerfed to be 59 and under but fel-focuser is allowed still then 3 days later "by the way he stealth nearfer the level like the lightforged rune. your welcome :D"
