I don't have to buy tokens for it. But not everyone has a spare 3m sitting around. This was absolutely a move to "encourage" token sales. The exact same reason they announced they were removing the Brutosaur. People panicking could spend upwards of $600 to acquire it if they had rely solely on tokens.

at least now i have a place to store most of my gold without worrying about hitting the cap every weekComment by bluebird91I'd just like to point out that other mmos on the market have had account-wide reagent storage for years so Blizzard is once again lagging behind with their old-fashioned player inconveniences.

GW2 has free account-wide material storage up to 250 (one stack) of every single material in the game that all characters can craft from and conveniently deposit materials to with a single button from their bags (the 250 stack cap can be increased by paying). Even Swtor introduced account-wide material storage years ago which automatically stores any material you pick up or deconstruct from gear into an account-wide tab that's unlimited. Eso's subscription comes with the craft bag which is also an unlimited account-wide storage for materials that you can automatically deposit items into and can craft from and can open anywhere anytime. I won't even go into detail about the account-wide currency tab in all of these games which work seamlessly unlike in Wow.

So reading all these "this is fine" comments is kinda weird, not gonna lie. I'd prefer it if my primary (but not only) mmo would be just as good (or better) than other games, especially when the player-friendliness and alt-friendliness was one of their cited goals for warbands.
