I just tested the new UI on the PTR Server and I really hope they add more options to some stuff.- Health Bar Class Color on Player, Target and Target of Target.- Disable the Player Portrait on all Health Bars- More options for the Cast Bar. Please let us change the position of the target Cast Bar! And let us make it bigger.- Let us change the position of the Bag Icon and all the stuff that is in the bottom right corner.- Let us move the Raid Frame in the bottom right corner. Right now on PTR you can't put it there. There is like a wall.- Let us change the position of the Info Text when you have your mouse on a player, npc etc.- And please let us change the size of stuff like Talking Head, Mini Map and almost everything.Nice would be also when you just can move every window with your mouse. Like your Bag, Character Window, Spell book etc.
I think the player portraits should be more simple. They're trying to make it look too fancy. Just make the old portraits a bit more sleek. Not a fan of the weird teardrop player icon and the gradients. Just do solid colors and rectangular shape.

I've been using adapt to animate my player pictures and I'm glad it's getting included in the vanilla UI!
It's hard to read what you've auto-looted with the sliding animation. The text is constantly moving. If it was on screen longer during auto-loot OR we could disable the sliding animation, that'd be great.
Let's hope it's well optimized, because animations like that usually come from ridiculously intensive addons that are always the first to go with last gen machines or crappy internet
Well, im gonna continue using my diablo esque ui addon after all
It's absolutely crucial that blizzard includes options to resize all unit frames, as well as hiding the player portrait, and only showing the bars. It's also critical that they allow us to hide UI elements until you mouse over them, like action bars and bag bars. If they do this, I can honestly stop using elvui. Elvui is great, but it would be nice to simplify.
So we got more pixels over the years and the best they can come up with now that they're doing a ui-make-over is some polished blank slates with small animations, yea sounds about right for actiblizz, they just accept anyone who cares is gonna mod their own UI anyway...
About time. Looks good too. I don't know if I am going to ditch Elvui immediately or at all but It would be nice to have an actual usable, modern UI without needing to worry about keeping UI up-to-date. Particularly when they plan on releasing more frequent patches. One thing I have not seen mentioned (maybe because it is already there) but I would like to be able to bind buttons to the bar like Elvui instead of through another menu. I am a visual person and being able to say "that button there I want that set to R" will help me remember more than seeing the 4th button on a list in the options setting. I'd also like to be able to just combine all the bags. I am sure Blizzard has reasons for doing that but I don't like having them separated.
I would like to remover the player and pet portraits - I know what we look like and they take up too much room, also give us options to edit the portraits so I can lessen the effect of the dominant gold frame. I dont know why they just didnt incorporate Bartender4 and shadowedUniitFrames into the ui ... .they both have far more customisation options. At least its a move forward though .... except those portraits - they are usually the first things I remove
