ok, this gives a little bit of hope at the end....Removed
RemovedLook, Tyrande won't let Sylvanas get redemption. There is still Teldrassil to answer for. I say Sylvanas actually sacrifices herself in the next patch. But, truthfully, I think Zovaal is going to be the ultimate swerve when he is turned into the good guy in this one. We've been getting our asses kicked all expac - we let him get all the sigils, when does that ever happen? - and I really believe this is just a setup to make the 'light' seem like the bad guy. Notice how all of his LKs - Arthas, Anduin - are champions of the Light? Notice that portal and its colors? The Light. Wait and see.
The titans didnt remove the rest of the Old God's because doing so would have destroyed the planet. When they forcefully removed Y'Shaarj from Azeroth, it nearly ripped the planet apart. They decided to leave the other Old God's because forcefully removing them was too great a threat to the planet, so they imprisoned the rest.
So the big question - now that we know the blue crystals are souls... Whose soul did he use to form the blade that he used to take control of Anduin?
The only way to make good on this will be for Anduin to be set free, Sylvanas sacrificing herself to do so, and with Arthas hovering over the Jailers dying body saying "No king rules forever..."
this cinematic was nicely directed. I love the camera
I think we all knew Blizzard was going to take the cringiest route
The entire point of "World of Warcraft" is that both sides do highly questionable and immoral things. It's not called "World of defense against the Horde". Both sides have done terrible, awful things. If they hadn't, then having two factions would be a no-go. Neither side is all good or all bad, that's the point. I'm not sure how "Horde are the favored class by Blizzard" makes any reasonable sense when, as you say, the Horde have been featured in a couple xpacs as bosses. How does that make us look better by comparison? You argue that Horde are the favored class when we've lost more leaders and often look like the bad guy. In what world is that Blizzard favoring the Horde? This fundamental misunderstanding of the nuances of war does not qualify you to make blanket statements like "Horde is objectively evil" when Benedictus betrayed everyone for the Twilight, Arthas slaughtered millions, Uther joined the Mawsworn, and the Alliance commissioned hundreds of Orc Internment camps and treated them as slaves merely for hard labor, among many other things. Life isn't black and white buddy, it's many, many shades of grey. War is grayer still. This "I'm right, you're wrong" BS is tiresome. If you're incapable of being objective, then don't be surprised when people call you out on it.
The Sylvanas whiners were always even less palatable than her fanboys, so I suppose I'll maintain the smirk that began in Legion. Good <bleep>, Windrunner. I expect to find you hanging out with Azshara again in short order.
Nice, see you guys in 8 months.
I kinda love how stupidly passive agressive The Jailer looks yeeting Syl's soul at her.
Meh so poor.
