they give you the whole armor set through renown rewards, then at the end of the campaign they give you raid tokens to buy weapons from a tint that doesn't match the rest of the set. and you have to farm 3500 anima to get a matching weapon. that's irritating af. these should have been rewards from chapter 9.
You have the right of it. He’s lying.
@VikingSven how can I level my adventurers then? Venthyr has very weak ones - all 12 of mine are around lvl 40 now and I still manage to fail lvl 35 missions sometimes.
With these anima rewards, we'll have transmogs next year. When we get bored of content and ask for new patch, they will say but you still didn't get all transmogs and you ask for new patch?
If only those were real weapons and not mogs. Useless for now, maybe at the end of the expansion just for the sake of mogs it would be ok to buy them.
With the anima prices we have actually probably ill buy one of these late this exp
With the amount of anima you get per WQ, good luck. So much grinding does not feel nice at all.
Adding myself to the pile of players who are anima starved. I'm a casual player and don't have enough time to dedicate to farming anima for hours every day..I pretty much do my weekly's/dailies, lucrative world quests, and a few bits and bobs every week and I'm unable to even afford higher than tier 1 sanctum upgrades. I do spend a bit of it on missions each day, but mostly just for stuff like mounts or exp missions. I'm not expecting to be able to buy everything as soon as it's available but it feels like a "reward" for them to be like "Weapon transmogs unlocked!...now go out and farm 3,500 anima"I get that the theme of the xpac is "anima shortage" but there has to be a better option to get it. It's very not fun for them to dangle all these rewards in front of us and not be able to afford it for weeks.

They actually have no reason to increase the rate, because once you have all the santum upgrades in a month or so you will have nothing to spend it on except these cosmetics.
Blizzard is study of extremes and NO balancing.Garrison Resources was at some point self-sustaining and after you upgraded Garrisson only for mission use.Order Resources and War Resources was relatively easy to get if you played and have also little use outside of missions.Reservoir Anima on the other hand have too many uses and is really hard to get. Expected to get some from Paragon chest, but no luck.I understand it is meant that there is Anima drought, but at this point they overdid it. If they don't up it in some patch significantly I expect people will start to quit with how hard it is to get.
So, I get both sides of the argument here.I'm stingy spending any anima on cosmetics because I want to do the sanctum upgrades. 5000 for a mount I'll use maybe once in a while vs 5000 for the anima conductor and opening up a new WQ and dailies (that can also drop anima) or upgrading my weekly event, etc is no contest. Like the upgrades are just more important in the long term. But we're still barely into the expansion so I understand these are longer term items to buy when I've spent it on all the important stuff and it starts stacking up. On the other hand, I think Blizzard screwed up in how they priced everything, it would be nice if there were at least a few cheaper items, like in the 250-500 range, something I'd consider dropping if it was something kind of neat. But almost all of them from mounts to pets to soulshape forms are 1500 - 5000. it's not a great feeling having sooo many items gated off like that because it comes down to, do I want the fun cosmetic thing bad enough to set myself back a week or two on saving up for upgrades? I'm full expecting some kind of catch up mechanic in the next patch, either reducing all/most anima costs or boosting what you get cuz yeah, farming it up can be tedious and time consuming, it's really really easy to hit 1000 and I'd say 1500 without issue in a week even if you're just playing casually, thanks in part to the world boss, dungeon quests, and the semi frequent 250 elite WQs. but anything after that is when you're scrimping, saving, grabbing every bit you can. The weekly up this week for 750 anima is certainly nice, though given every zone only has 3-5 WQs and most WQs involve more time spent on them, I kind of wish they'd lower the 20 WQ bar a little or let it include daily quests.
You have to be a giant &*!@#$% if during one of the worst anima droughts of all time you're gonna use it to buy a weapon tint.
