Good change and it is hype if it helps.
So glad they implemented this change after they implemented Threads of Fate, thereby making levelling faster and easily farmable to botting players...
They need to just ban strings from listings. “WTS”, “Selling”, “Gold only”, any url, and any group that last a certain amount of time with only 1 player would make it at least a little more difficult on the botters/sellers.
its a good bandaid for now, but carry group selling should just be bannable
In other words - Purchase the character boosts on your advertisement accounts to bypass this restriction and keep doing what you were doing. /clap Well done with the fix blizz. /s
This only delays the problem, you think those accounts got to 50 legit?
nice article
O.K. fine i get it but if u look at trade chat and you are a signed up as a guide for new players u will see that MANY, A LOT of people with level range from 1 to 20 advertise they boosting spamming on trade chat and sometimes even NEWBIE chat for those news players and those players are very often confused what the hell is going on... this doesnt look good when u see in either chat level 1 or 10 or 20 character standing in orgrimmar as a horde or stormwind as an ally character and advertising every 30 seconds sometimes 60 seconds etc etc. That spam includes most common boosting communities like ICECROWN, OBLIVION, SYLVANAS, NOVA.
It's about time! This will help end the endless number of spam selling keystones and raids.
lol, another change brought about by them watching the rants by the popular streamers in their quitting wow videos
I guess it does something. But why not address the issue harder?
Just sitting here, wondering why this wasn't a thing the instant LFG was invented. It's like they tried to make french toast but waited until the toast was half eaten to add the cinnamon.
This doesn't fix anything. They will just use lvl 60 characters to create those spam advertising groups...
So now the people spamming sales will have to buy boosts from the game store.Very clever Blizz.
