Sure am glad they wasted their time on this.
Now I see it too, thanks fo the comments.its really the back, how is bows as it moves.
The druids also roars when getting into a form, at least Worgen male does it. As well for the walking animations, the differences are more realistic feels to the motion. When walking it's legs aren't as cramped as previously, when running it uses it's claws more, like a cat does, to pull itself forward.
A subtle, but nice change. You really notice it better when playing. They also updated the left/right turning for the cat form as well. Another small change too is now your character yells when they morph into cat/bear form, which I really like.Sadly we still don't really have a good stealth animation. Right now it's just the run cycle.
The tail should be 100% the cat model's length.
As long as I don't see an animation like this when a feral druid is under the effect of a fear spell, I don't care :https://media.giphy.com/media/wfDbvIdG0Xhzq/giphy.gif
no stealth animation still.
Aaa I'm so excited! I know it looks so small to others but those small things really add up for us Ferals!
Looks good but can we fix the endless roaring/stretching sound and animations next?
Really happy that they’re paying attention to these small details.
I dont notice any changes same cat form and look as before?
I think it looks better, yeah, but as a lifelong cat-owner, I can say from experience that cats' backs stay straight when they're stalking something. All the shock goes into their knees and ankles so their backs aren't all bouncy.
Give this same change to all cat models.
I think it's great that Bliz is showing this attention to detail, in an update of something that was pretty good already.Great animations are one of the pillars of WoW.
